"This is a decent little apartment right on the beach with nice views. The back sliding door windows facing the beach in Unit 2 are not clear because there is some residue of some sort on them blurring the view. Other units don't have this problem. Other than that, the proximity to the beach and views from other windows are great. The apartment is right on the highway so road noise is a factor, though on the ocean side, you will hear the ocean."

"Property very nice, wonderful views. Wish I had known it was upstairs. My husband and I are elderly and had a hard time with the stairs. Also no decent frying pan for eggs. One metal one that was not suitable for frying eggs. Also the toilet was so low we needed to use the window sill to pull ourselves up. A chair height toilet would have been nice. "Was not aware that Covid was still an issue. That if you stayed more than one night, you would not get room service. That was a true frustration. We were house hunting for 6 hours to come back with no room service. Since I have motel management experience, I was not happy. "The house was beautiful and was setup to enjoy family time. The location is also ideal to explore the coast. The sheets were unfortunately dirty but there was a washer and dryer to clean them. It was a lovely time overall. Would go back. "

"My two sisters joined me from far away and we had a very special time together at this Sanderling Cottage, cooking meals, talking over tea, and heading out the back door to walk on the beach.The cottage had all the basics and was just what we wanted."

Great Place!

"Great views and great space! Plenty of room! This place has the best beach! Our family had a place next door for many years, so it felt like home walking the same beach. We found ourselves staying in for meals more than we typically do because we liked being able to stay inside with the views. It was really stormy when we were there. We only had one of six days that were sunny all day, but always waited for breaks in the weather to walk the beach.The kitchen had everything we needed as far as pans and utensils etc. Bring spices etc, if you want more than the basics. There was a large container of pepper and olive oil, but no salt. Fine for us because we brought our own things. Just a suggestion for the next person. We do the same beach trip every year and plan to stay here next year! This unit has 17 stairs, which was fine for us. We are in our 50’s and the more steps we get the better. It may not be a good fit for all, but the views are definitely better from the higher units.I forgot to mention that it does back to 101, so there is traffic noise if the windows are open. Spending many years by this location, we are used to it and it does not bother us at all, the beach and views on the front side are the important thing. :)"

"Location was perfect, excellent views, really close to the beach... Kitchen could use more and better quality cookware and utensils, and the shower water pressure could be a little better, but all and all, the place is amazing..."

"A hidden gem where you can enjoy the views and sound of ocean waves right from the bed. The location is convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions. My only suggestion would be to provide coffee pods, creamer, or essentials for the coffee maker. It would be nice to sip a cup of coffee while taking in the view without having to step out just for that."
