"We travel to the Chicago area to visit family and we choose this hotel every time. It is nicely tucked away just 30 minutes North of the city center. The layout of the hotel is very nice, with the breakfast area, restaurant and bar in the middle of the ground floor. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and clean and offer plenty of comfort. They are pet friendly which is nice when travelling with furry companions. The atmosphere is peaceful with lots of live plants around the entire center floor area and spread throughout the hotel. Highly recommend."

"My husband and I stayed One night after a full day of Christmas shopping at Gurnee Mills Mall. Exhausted and ready to relax, we checked in and were given a room on the first floor. Upon walking into our room, we realized the thermostat was very warm. My husband immediately turned AC on and pushed temps down to get the room cooled off. After about an hour or so, we realized the room was not cooling off. I went To the front desk and spoke with Katherine. She immediately apologized and began looking for another available room for us. She found one form the hall and immediately changed us to the new room. This room was an upgrade, but she did not charge us for the upgrade. She was very nice and wonderful to Work with. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Katherine for you quick response and solution. To our problem."

"Our go to hotel when we visit six flags because its always the cheapest or close to, has full pool and hot tub thats always clean and great, and its the easiest walk to Six Flags. They include breakfast which has a pretty good spread honestly or the hotel shares a lot with Cracker Barrel. We had pizza delivered to the front desk. Some of the employees were cold and seem inconvenienced by anything we needed. *This has been a this year problem, 2023 staff was phenomenal * Overall, definitely best bang for your buck in the area. If youre bothered by some dead light bulbs, cracked plaster, dirty corners, and maybe some mildew in damp areas, then look elsewhere, but if the mediocre things dont really bother you, this is the place to go."
