Would Stay Again!
We had a great stay here! The apartment was very clean and had a cozy. The location is also great, ice cream downstairs, restaurants all around and there is even great little bakery right down the street! Hope to visit again next year.

It was everything you should expect from a stay. Great communication, fantastic location. Walking distance to beach and kids used bikes to get to fantasy island and bay village.

Great place would definitely stay again!!
Nice place in a good location. Located two blocks from the beach, a short bike ride from any shopping or restaurant attractions. Staying above and ice cream shop was not at all an inconvenience like you would think the peak hours were very short, opened at 3pm and closed by 10pm.

Terrific Location
Awesome property a block from restaurants, the bay, the ocean and more. We loved borrowing the tandem bicycle for a morning ride and walking to the beach every afternoon. Perfect location for all your LBI needs.

Family getaway
The overall stay was pleasant but there were areas where we had to clean the condo. There was lots of garbage left in the living room.. mostly water bottles. We did not feel the unit was thoroughly cleaned prior to us checking in after 3pm. Also, the unit listed washer/dryer but we did not find one. Where was this located in the unit? The location was close to where we wanted to go so that was a plus. The bedrooms were spacious enough for everyone in our group. Overall great stay but would of liked to not have to clean up the unit prior to us settling in.

Fantastic rental
We had a stress free vacation with our teenage daughters staying here.The condo was lovely, very clean, airy and open. The bedrooms were perfect sizes. The location is amazing! Dave the host was very accommodating and the kitchen had all the necessities of home. Being above the Ice cream shop was never an issue, we will definitely stay here again.

Mini family vacation
We enjoyed 3 nights in LBI. Location was great and would stay again. We were 6 adults but there is street noise if you have young children. There were 2 usable bikes which was a +. Bunk beds in one room hard to access. Dave was a great host!

Comfortable Apartment With Superb Location on LBI
Stayed here in July 2023 for 1/2 week trip with 6 people and found the apartment to be comfortable and in a great location on the Island. It was quite hot during our trip and each main area comprised of Living room Kitchen and each bedroom had their own personal mini AC unit with digital remotes to keep every area cool and comfortable. Nice kitchen and family room area. David was a great Host who promptly answered any questions. Would gladly stay again.

The apartment was clean and the location was great. Be prepared at the ice cream shop below plays music until about 11 PM. Also, you have to bring all of your own sheets and towels which for us was a little inconvenient because we didn’t have twin sheets. Close to the beach and lots of restaurants though.

We were right in the center of everything!! So clean and spacious for our little family! Did get a little noisy when ice cream shop was open not terrible. They close at 10, I wish that would be when they stopped the music too.

Very rainy weekend in late September
The condo was comfortable and we had a good experience, We would have liked to know ahead of time the condo was on the third floor. We managed quite well, but it was still a surprise.

Great location & perfect layout for a family!
We enjoyed our stay, loved the layout of the apartment and the decor, and found Dave to be very friendly & easy to communicate with! The apartment was very clean, the location was most convenient (near several great eateries, one block from a Wawa and a tasty bakery and a three minute drive to Bay Village & Fantasy Island). The stairs up to the apartment are a bit overwhelming when carrying in bags but you get used to it quickly. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Spot in Season
Loved the layout of the apartment. Really nice kitchen and lighting features. A/C units in each room. Unfortunately, the ice cream store was closed but all other restaurants, bakeries, etc. were open. Didn't realize it was a 3-story walk-up, which isn't a problem for younger people, not good for some elderly.

Location, location, location!
Great location, easy access to beach and bay. Also, walking distance to many great restaurants. The ice cream store below is the best in LBI. The unit was very clean and spacious. May be a little bit more traffic noise than I was expecting, but it is on a the main road. We just had the fans on for white noise at night so it worked out. If you are going to rely on the bikes that are there, they are not in good shape, so bring your own.

Great location but unit falls short
We recently stayed at this property and found the location to be absolutely amazing. It was convenient and close walk to the beach. The host was also very responsive and quick to address our inquiries, which we found reassuring. However, we were disappointed with several aspects of the unit itself. The listing mentioned that sheets and towels were not included, but this detail was buried at the bottom of the description, making it easy to overlook. Upon arrival, we discovered that there were no sheets or towels provided and had to scramble to find a store near us to buy them- which put us out $300. Additionally, we found stains on the comforters, crumbs on the pots and pans, and used tin foil in the toaster oven. There was also trash in some of the drawers. These issues suggested that the cleanliness of the unit was not up to the standard we expected. The property mentions laundry on site, however the laundry machine is shared with the ice cream shop underneath We also encountered safety concerns with the bunk beds, as there was broken wood and an exposed nail, which could be hazardous. Lastly, the blinds throughout the house were broken, making it difficult to get ready without feeling exposed to those outside. While we appreciated the great location and the host's responsiveness, we believe these issues need to be addressed to improve the overall experience for future guests.

End of August Getaway
Our other rental fell through and we went on a last minute hunt for a new spot. We normally would have chosen a quieter rental but decided to go for it and see what life is like on top of an ice cream store. We really had no issues with the store below. They play music but you can’t hear it upstairs. My kids loved going down in their pajamas and keeping an eye on the line and getting ice cream every night. My only complaint would be when the store closes from 10-10:20 the kids pumped their music loud to clean up- but it was just 20 minutes and then they all left for the night. All the descriptions are accurate of the home. The two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the kitchen so you do feel like you have your own space if you are traveling with another family. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. The kitchen and family room were spotless. There was toilet paper, trash bags, cleaning supplies and hand soap. The air conditioning works really well and the washer and drier in the basement are huge and very clean. The road is busy- but we knew that coming in so no surprises. The owner of the home was extremely fast responding to us. We were able to check in early which was great. The location of the house is close to the beach and shops. There is a hose next to the storage unit which we discovered and were happy to use for our feet. Make sure to take a spin on the tandem bike!!! That was our kids absolute highlight! Thanks for a great getaway!!!

Misleading listing, untrustworthy host
I hate to leave bad reviews and tried to work this out with the host, but he is not answering me. I stayed here 7/31/23. He was prompt in his replies on the platform which I appreciated and he let us check in early to drop our bags. When we came back, we noticed several safety and cleanliness issues, most notably 1) a towel bar partially missing at my toddler's height that he could have banged into, 2) a sliding door off its hinges, 3) shower head coming off the wall, 4) a comforter with an awful looking stain, 5) wristbands left in the shower. Outside of this, the whole apartment shook constantly from people walking up the steps to the ice cream shop. I didn’t complain about this as it’s out of Dave’s control. I called Dave and he answered right away and offered to come fix things, but I was concerned for my toddler's safety, these were just the things I noticed and I didn't want to risk there being other issues. He agreed on the phone to refund me the remaining nights. However, he later messaged me and said he would only refund some of the remaining dollars. He gave me his word and then changed his mind, and I don't think it's smart to stay at a host's property who doesn't stand by his word. Now he is no longer answering messages. I'm sure he will reply here to say he offered to fix the issues and did so quickly (he did) and that he is technically abiding by VRBO policy (he is), but he reneged on a commitment and I wouldn't trust him with your money or your vacation.
