"My husband and I (and our little dog) spent a week in the cabin and we all throughly enjoyed ourselves. Mark and Lynda are great hosts and very kind. "Beautiful cottage house situated near Mt. Saint Michel. You are about 20 minutes away from the parking lot of the Mont Saint Michel visitor center. The host only speaks French. The reason for the four-star review was because the property details didn't mention anything about an extra charge for linens/bed sheets. "My daughter and I greatly enjoyed our recent overnight stay at La Mere Poulard. The current renovations did lend to a less-than-ideal level of cleanliness and noise, and the buildings are definitely in need of them. Despite this, however, it was hard to be upset in such a historic and beautiful place! Breakfast was delightful. We would definitely stay again- and highly recommend a meal at the restaurant! "

"The position is amazing with unimpeded views towards the mount. The walk to the island from there is flat and easy if you enjoy walking or you can take the free shuttle bus which stops right outside. Our room was spacious and comfortable and we had a wonderful view across the fields to Mont Saint Michel. "
