Welcome to TwinMaple Cottage in Bayfield Wisconsin! Our 1,500 sq ft home is about a 5 min drive from downtown Bayfield with a great view of Lake Superior and Madeline Island.

You'll find a cozy living space with a full kitchen and dining area, large deck, and a fire pit surrounded by woods. You can see the lake from our living room and kitchen - making for a great place to relax and appreciate the view.

Enjoy this quiet neighborhood only minutes from shops and restaurants in downtown Bayfield, WI.

The entire cleaning fee goes directly to the cleaner as she is careful to ensure our home is clean upon your arrival.

Absolutely Perfect in EVERY Way
Our stay was an absolute blessing! The cottage was perfectly maintained; tastefully decorated; meticulously clean/organized; and generously stocked. So many special touches: comfy and beautiful bed/linens, artesian water, lovely art! The view was amazing! We watched the ferry and the sun’s breathtaking glow in the mornings/evenings. Despite the rainy weather we enjoyed exploring quaint and historic Bayfield and the surrounding area: galleries; farm stores/bakeries; the maritime museum; and the best breakfast at Manypenny Bistro. We lazed at the cottage, reading; and enjoyed cooking in the wonderful kitchen and grilling. Most of all, we can’t thank enough, our incredible host MaryAnn. She clearly loves her cottage; and is passionate about sharing it with her guests – including the furry ones! We’ll forever treasure every memory; hope to return; and fully recommend the wonderful Twin Maples Cottage.

As we drove into the driveway it was evident that our Host had portrayed the property accurately but we didn’t expect the view to be so amazing; the outdoor spaces to be so relaxing; and the indoor spaces to be so perfect and comfortable. We’d recommend this experience to anyone!

The house was perfectly located just a couple minutes drive outside of Bayfield which made it convenient. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The beds were super comfy. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed. We have a wonderful stay!

A Great Vacation House

What a lovely place!
I surprised my husband for his birthday with a little getaway to Bayfield. This home was just perfect! The property was clean, organized, the owners had everything prepared just perfect for our stay. If I had to send a message or ask any questions (which were all prior to our arrival), the owner responded within 30 minutes or less. Needless to say, my husband was thrilled with his birthday surprise and we very much enjoyed our stay!

Great Stay & View!
We had a really nice stay here and the view from the window of the lake and Island were just awesome, especially when the full moon came up. Very clean too. Our dogs had fun and we made sure to clean up after them. Very close to Bayfield, so easy in and out there with great white fish fresh to eat at all the restaurants.

This house was very clean and nicely decorated with a nautical theme. It was spacious enough for my family of four. My kids enjoyed the board games available, and we had fun roasting s’mores over the fire pit in the backyard.

This residence has the ideal location for all things Bayfield. The residence was perfect in cleanliness and amenities. The property owner was very accommodating and super responsible in responding to questions. The scenic views from the living room windows as well as the front deck were a bonus for morning coffee and evening beverages. We loved the house and recommend it to anyone.

We loved this cottage. It had everything we needed. Very conveniently located to get to the Big Top, the ferry to Madeline, and great beaches. Kitchen had eveything we needed to cook and the patio and firepit were wonderful. Great weather also helped. Would highly recommend.

This quiet getaway is exactly what we wanted and needed. The location was convenient to town, but yet remote enough for the tranquility we desired. We absolutely LOVED out time at Bayfield and would stay here again without reservation.

Long term winter stay
We stayed here for 2 months from Jan-March for a clinical placement. The place was extremely well stocked with everything you might need during a long term stay - kitchen utensils, extra towels, blankets. The location is great.. The property manager was very friendly, involved, and accommodating. Unfortunately, there was construction going on while we were staying there which caused some noise during the day. The property manager and construction team were very accommodating and ensured that there would be no construction team working if we had a day off work or a virtual interview at the house during the day. They were very accommodating so it wasn’t a big deal but it did require some additional communication and there was some dust involved. The larger bedroom gets cold in the winter, but the rest of the house was nice and warm. Other than that, it’s hard to come up with any complaints. The stay worked out really well.

Ideal spot for a Bayfield stay
This house was in an excellent location - just a short walk to the Adventure Club brewery and the Brownstone trail. We found the house to be extremely clean and incredibly well supplied. It would be easy to prepare all meals in the kitchen. I only wish we could have taken advantage of the fire pit and outdoor seating, but it was rainy for much of our stay.
