Countryhouse Hochstaufenblick is part of Estate 'Kollmannsbrunn' and is situated in the surroundings of the Berchtesgadener National Park, adjacent to the border with Austria, and provides views of the idyllic farmland at the foot of the Hochstaufen, Zwiesel, and Predigstuhl mountains that lend their name to its three separate holiday apartments. ‘Staufen’ is a large, ground-floor family apartment with two bedrooms, while ‘Zwiesel’ and ‘Predigtstuhl’ offer smaller, one bedroom accommodation on the first floor. The property is surrounded by meadows and farmland, as well as country houses on the outskirts of the villages Bayerisch Gmain and its Austrian counterpart, Grossgmain. Footpaths and cycle ways lead directly from the house to the spa town of Bad Reichenhall (3 km), as well as nearby forests and the Austrian village of Grossgmain.

Wunderschöner Urlaub im Berchtesgadener Land
Sehr schöne Wohnung, fantastisch gelegen und traumhaft ruhig. Von hier aus lassen sich viele Ausflugsziele gut erreichen, ein kurzer Stopp an der Tourist-Info in Bayerisch Gmain versorgte uns mit vielen guten Tipps für unsere Ausflüge nach Salzburg und an den Königssee. Familie Gross hat uns sehr freundlich begrüsst und mit reichlich Infomaterial versorgt, wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt, und würden jederzeit gern wiederkommen.

Eine perfekt ausgestattete Ferienwohnung mit schönem Garten und herrlichem Bergpanorama.
Alles lief sehr unkompliziert. Wir konnten die zwei Wochen in vollen Zügen genießen. Bayerisch Gmain ist eher unscheinbar, aber das Berchtesgadener Land hat viel zu bieten.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit traumhafter Lage und sehr lieben und netten Vermietern
Das Ferienhaus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und besitzt eine traumhafte Lage. Ob Berge oder Wiesen, eine Burgruine oder eine tolle Kirche, all das kann bereits vom Ferienhaus erspäht werden. Es gibt eine tolle Wiese die zum Ferienhaus gehört und mit genutzt werden kann. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und helfen gerne bei Fragen oder Unklarheiten. Der Ort Bayerisch Gmain ist sehr schön und bietet den geübten Wanderer einige tolle Wandererlebnisse im Lattengebirge. Rundum ein tolles Feriendomizil mit vielen Möglichkeiten.

Super!!!
Wir haben in der Ferienwohnung "Zwiesel" wunderschöne Tage verbracht. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Landschaft ist herrlich. Man kann vom Balkon aus viel Ruhe und die Aussicht genießen und die Tiere des Nachbarhofes beobachten. Frau Gross ist eine sehr liebe Vermieterin und steht mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung. Es ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen in alle Richtungen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Erholung Pur!
Das Apartment "Zwiesel" liegt in einer ruhigen Nebenstraße zwischen Wiesen und Wäldern und bietet einen hervorragenden Ausblick auf die umliegenden Berge. Durch den Garten fließt ein kleiner Bach, auf dem sich die hauseigenen Enten in den sonnigen Stunden vergnügen. Die Ferienwohnung bietet dank zwei Balkonen, einer Badewanne und der schönen Sitzecke im Erker für jedes Wetter den passenden Rückzugsort. Sie ist an Ausstattung, Komfort und Sauberkeit kaum zu übertreffen!!! Die Umgebung besticht durch abwechslungsreiche Freizeitangebote für jede Altersgruppe. Als wäre das allein noch nicht genug, sind die Vermieter sehr sympathisch und zuvorkommend. Alles in allem ist das Apartment "Zwiesel" ein echtes Urlaubsjuwel und unbedingt weiterzuempfehlen!

It was easy to find being only 14 km from Salzburg airport. On arrival, after some admin. stuff, Aurelia explained all the places to visit. The property itself was as it was in the pictures. Immaculately clean with all amenities. It was wam (had to turn down the thermostat) and very comfortable. The heated floor in the bathroom was such a bonus. The property was just across the border from Austria. So we were able to have breakfast in Germany and then nipped acroos the border to have lunch. There are lots of places to eat and prices are reasonable. The property has a nice mountain vista around it. You could almost re-enact the Sound of Music part where Julie Andrews runs up the hill and start singing. You can drive to Salzburg and leave the car in one of the many park and ride places. We left ours near the zoo and cost about 3 euros to park all day. Alternatively, you can catch a bus (return fare 6 Euros). They are very punctual. The famous mountain pass (Grossglockner) is about 30 minutes drive away. Unfortunately, they are open only in May so was not able to go. Hoping to return in the summer to try this out. In conclusion, the property was a delight to stay in and I would recommend it to anyone who just wants to chill out or explore the many picturesque places around it. William

Mehr als ein Wohn(t)raum
Diese Ferienwohnung ist ein einziger Traum: Das Haus, die Lage und die vollausgestatte Ferienwohnung mit dem Flair bayerischer Gemütlichkeit haben uns sofort vom Alltag abschalten lassen. Die gesamte Wohnungseinrichtung erweckt den Anschein, als ob der Vermieter selbst darin wohnen würde - aufwändig, individuell und mit viel Geschmack gestaltet. Unsere hohen Erwartungen aufgrund der Beschreibung und der Gästebewertungen wurden noch übertroffen. Ein Grund dafür waren auch die netten und nützlichen Tipps unserer sympathischen und den Gästen gegenüber aufgeschlossenen Vermieter. Wir kommen wieder!

Tolle Ferienwohnung
Wir suchten eine Unterkunft mit einer nahen Anbindung zu einem größeren Ort, in dem man bei schlechtem Wetter oder abends bummeln kann, aber ohne Störung durch Reiseverkehr und Blick auf die Bergwelt. All das haben wir in diesem Ferienhaus gefunden. Die Einrichtung ist gut und ausreichend möbliert. Es blieb nur ein Wunsch offen: ein größeres TV-Gerät mit HDMI-Anschluss. Dies spielte aber keiner große Rolle. Der Ort liegt sehr günstig, um viele Ausflüge zu unternehmen; Salzburg war sehr schnell zu erreichen. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend; wir fühlten uns bestens betreut.

Wunderschön gelegenes Domizil
Diese Ferienwohnung „Hochstaufenblick“ in Bayerisch Gmain buchten wir für eine Woche Sommerurlaub und waren sehr erfreut, eine so schön eingerichtete Wohnung vorzufinden. Sowohl Sauberkeit als auch Zweckmäßigkeit erfüllte unsere Erwartungen in vollster Zufriedenheit. Sehr schön, unsere Gastgeber empfingen uns persönlich, um uns bei Fragen rund um die Ferienwohnung oder anderen Dingen hilfreich zur Seite zu stehen und uns auch nützliche Tipps gaben, was die Ausflüge rund um die Gegend betraf. Wir verlebten leider nur eine Woche Urlaub in dieser herrlichen Umgebung, definitiv zu wenig, um die vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Wandertouren zu erleben, die wir als Ziel gesetzt, aber bei Leibe nicht schaffen konnten. Deshalb werden wir ganz sicher sehr gern wiederkommen, denn dieser Ort und die netten Gastgeber dieses Ferienhauses laden einfach dazu ein und nebenbei gesagt, schlägt das Wetter einmal zu Ungunsten des Urlaubers um, sodass ein Wolkenbruch sich auf das Tal niederlässt, umso gemütlicher ein Rückzielort vorzufinden wie in dieser gemütlichen Ferienwohnung. Eine Woche zum Wohlfühlen
Ausstattung und Lage der Wohnung entsprechen dem Inserat; wir haben nichts vermisst; die Wohnung, das Haus und der umliegende Garten sind gepflegt, sodass man sich sofort heimisch fühlt. Die Aussicht aus dem Fenster auf die ländliche Landschaft bzw, die Berge ist einfach nur schön. Auch die gehbehinderte Schwiegermutter mit Rollator konnte sich ohne Probleme in der Wohnung bewegen; von daußen ist nur eine Stufe ins Haus zu bewältigen Trotz der sehr ruhigen Lage läßt sich die nähere und weitere Umgebung mit dem Auto problemlos erkunden; Erfahrungen mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln haben wir nicht gemacht. Wanderwege, Bäcker, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurationen sind auch zu Fuss zu erreichen. Wer also Lust auf ein ruhiges Domizil mit guter Ausstattung in schöner Umgebung hat, ist hier goldrichtig. Wir durften bereits das zweite und hoffentlich nicht das letzte Mal das Angebot geniessen.

Absolut Zauberhaft!
Die Austattung der Wohnung und der Lage wurde ja in den anderen Bewertungen bereits ausführlichst beschrieben. Dem ist nichts hinzuzufügen, ausser das es zu 100% der Wahrheit entspricht. Das Anwesen (sowohl die Außenanlagen, als auch die Wohnung) ist in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand. Die Vermieter kümmern sich umsichtig um das Wohl der Gäste und man ist mit seinen Fragen sehr gut bei ihnen aufgehoben. Was ich noch unbedingt zu den Beschreibungen hinzufügen möchte ist das Hervorheben der Nähe zu Salzburg, was meines Erachtens den Charme der Wohnung in dieser Lage noch erhöht. Man kann die kulturellen Angebote Salzburgs (Festspiele, Konzerte, Theater, Christkindlmärkte usw.) genießen, ohne die hohen Übernachtungspreise Salzburgs zu bezahlen. Also nicht nur zu Ferienzeiten ein Highlight. Ich kann es jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Excellent Apartment
We stayed in the Staufen apartment with our two girls. The apartment was perfect, spacious, very clean, comfortable, fully equiped with plenty of home comforts. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and recommended several things to see and do in the local area, places to shop and buy fuel/bread etc and was always available if we needed anything. There were a number information leaflets and a very helpful book in English and German of things to do and visit. We liked the location, in fact there were too many things to see and do in the this area for our week's stay. The apartment is only 20 minutes drive from Salzburg and 5 minutes walk from the Austrian border. We would definitely go back and stay here again, in fact the girls have already asked 'when are we going back', we had a great time. I would certainly recommend the apartment and the location.

Outstanding Apartment.
As a family visiting from Australia we had a number of questions from the outset about the property, local weather and amenities. The owners were exceptional in both response times and the provision of additional information both before our trip and when we arrived. We stayed in the family apartment as we were travelling with our two boys aged 4 and 8. The apartment itself was five star, well equipped and perfect for a travelling family. There were also lovely personal touches of chocolates, and a marked up map on our arrival showing where to buy food etc. How nice. The location was close to Salzburg as well as a host of other natural attractions in the area and if you are thinking of Salzburg I would strongly consider this property as it is only a short drive. What an amazing part of the world.
