"This is our 2nd stay at the Dancing Bear Cabin. It is our favorite place to stay in this area. Always clean and just perfect. We have already started planning our anniversary trip for next year! Thank you! "

"We had a very nice stay and would definitely stay again. The communication with the host as great and was very welcoming. She had wonderful suggestions for local hiking. We hiked a The Hill Preserve and also in Harbor Springs at The Pond Farm. The cabin is centrally located to many nearby attractions. The local restaurants have great food. We enjoyed Noggin's pub in Petoskey. The hot tub was a nice treat after a day or two of hiking. The cabin is very cozy and we enjoyed relaxing at night...

"We loved our stay. There are 2 maintenance issues that did not detract from our enjoyment but the owner should know about. The tv in the upstairs bedroom at the back does nor work. The microwave needs to be replaced. Most of the buttons do not function. We were able to turn it on and manually turn it off after a minute but you cant't use any other button"

"This cabin left us feeling incredibly lucky and humbled to be a part of it for a couple of days. This felt like a pleasant weekend with your most cherished family members and for me it reminds me of my grandmother’s house whom I was fond of. From the family scenery and history, to the animals that call that cabin part of their home/routine. I hope we were able to treat this cabin as well as they treated us. "

"The place is adorable and easy to find. It's very poorly lighted inside making it hard to read, do a puzzle or any handiwork. Everything in the house worked fine and it was appointed very well. The Fish House (Sturgeon Cabin???) however was small, no place to put a suitcase but the floor, very chilly with a wall heater that blows more cold air than warm and took over an hour to just take the cold down to chill. It also had minimal light so the best option was to get in bed fully dressed and go...

"We have been interested in the Earl Young houses since we first discovered them on a day trip to Charlevoix several years ago. So I was excited to find that one was available as a short-term rental. The inside did not disappoint; it was cozy, quirky and a fun experience. "

"Our stay at John's cottage was perfect. He provided great directions, which was helpful as we arrived after dark. The beds were comfortable and my niece was loved the goodies that were left for us. The cottage was in a great area and near to our friend's house, which is who we were visiting. We will definitely stay again!"
