Beautiful water view
If you love to crab and fish and just relax, this is a perfect spot to do that. Close to restaurants and the beach but away from hustle and bustle. Very clean and lots of amenities. A nice getaway with family for our 12 year anniversary.

River getaway

Quiet scenic getaway!
Loved the house! We spent a lot time on the beautiful deck admiring the views and the peacefulness. We rented for jeeping in the coast and couldn't have been more pleased. Will def revisit! Have a stocked shed for your fishing needs as well.

Very nice and clean house. Boat launch and dock was plus plus!! We had a great relaxing few days & will assuredly be back for another stay. House was perfect and extra clean as was the whole grounds. Fishing sucked but we enjoyed some nice boat rides.

This property was even better than described in the listing! Exceptionally clean, convenient, comfortable, updated….thoughtful little touches everywhere to make you feel at home. The Seahorse is one of the best places we’ve found to enjoy a relaxing, refreshing getaway. We plan to return and highly recommend.

What a cute little house. Perfect for my family of 6. Had everything we needed to enjoy our week there. From fishing off the dock, to grilling steaks on the grill. Easy check in and a view really nice check in phone calls from our host. Will hopefully be back someday!

Boat launch on property was main reason for choosing this house. Fishing was pretty awful inshore off the river but we did enjoy several boat rides to sightsee . Place was very very nice and perfectly clean although I wasn’t about to use the leftover soap bar! Lol. Upper back deck was awesome for morning coffees & evening drinks and bottom deck was very spacious with plenty seating. Wife wanted off from cooking so we putt putted to the beach restaurants which were all good. Overall we had a wonderful relaxing time in a very nice house in a great location.

What a great place to relax!
We traveled to the Bay St. Louis area in mid-April-2023 for a three-day stay after some time on the beach in Pensacola. This place offered a wonderful change of atmosphere. For starters, Our host, Al, was very communicative from the start and ensured that our check-in process was seamless. The property was exactly as advertised and more! We had access to daily and nightly fishing right off the dock, campfires, cookouts, and space to relax. It offered convenient access to New Orleans (about a 45-minute drive), and was close to everything we possibly needed. The local grocery store is great and just up the road and the house is fully stocked and move-in ready. This place is a gem! If you're looking for a nice, quiet rental for some R&R and quality time with your people, THIS PLACE IS IT!

Fishin with buddies
Rented this place with some buddies for a little fishing trip and it was great. The boat launch on site was nice. We had some bad weather come in and were able to pull the boat out. We just let it sit on the trailer and backed it right back in the next morning. No hauling it down the road. The house was clean and had everything you needed. You can tell they take pride in keeping it nice. The outside areas were my favorite part. The large deck up top and the covered lower part made hanging out on the weather days way better. You’re not stuck inside! Definitely will be back.

Awesome Get Away!
I dont know where to start , because there was nothing bad about the house nor the owner Al we communicated with at the beginning of the stay. The house was very clean , there is nothing we needed that we didn't have. This is a place to go and all you need is clothes. Al was very helpful and he let us use everything he had to make a stay the best possible. We fished with his gear right of the dock and used his crab cages to do some crabbing off the dock.. we got enough blue crab for me and my wife to have a great crab dinner one night. The place is so peaceful and to it self. I would highly recommend this place. Its also in the middle of everything. Bay st louis, new orleans , gulf Port, long Beach, biloxi and Alabama. Everything with in an hour drive. We will go back i promise. Thanks again Al for letting enjoy your beautiful home on the water. Tony Morrow

Perfectly awesome!
Stayed here to enjoy our 32nd anniversary by spending as much time in our boat as possible (mission accomplished!), and the Seahorse was absolutely perfect for us. The elevator was SO helpful in getting our stuff up and down. The house is very well stocked with just about anything you could possibly need, from the great updated kitchen appliances to lots of games, DVDs, some outdoor sports equipment - just wonderfully thought out in all aspects. It’s decor is so nice, and it’s extremely clean. All the decks and stairs are brand new, and the setup outside offers numerous areas to hang out and enjoy the tranquility of nature or the company of family & friends. The location is great, private yet very convenient to everything. We were lucky enough to buy some yard eggs from Tina, only a block down Hwy 603, & that was a real treat. We especially loved the super convenience of the nice boat launch/dock, being able to hop out of the boat and onto the property. The only issue we encountered was that we tended to roll to the middle in both beds and prefer a more firm mattress. As much as I’d love to keep knowledge of this little gem private, I must give it - and our host, Al - 5 stars without hesitation. Thanks for providing a great abode! Highly recommend and hope to be back soon.
