The Space:
Bamboo Grove by Tiny Away is located in the Fraser Coast Region, just 39 minutes from Gympie and just an hour's drive to Sunshine Coast beaches. Close to Dickabram Bridge, and Mary Valley Rattler-Gympie just 42 minutes away.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers) for you to use.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surrounding areas, except on the other side of the creek where the main house is located. If you're interested in a short beach trip to go swimming, or just admire stunning sea views, Ranbow Beach is just an hour-drive away.
The Neighborhood:
Bamboo Grove by Tiny Away sits in the rural locality of Bauple, 39 minutes from Gympie and just an hour's drive from the Sunshine Coast beaches. A few stunning beaches that are worth the long drive include Mooloolaba Beach, Kings Beach, and Little Cove Noosa.

- Gold Coast is a 3 hr drive from stunning beaches, surfing spots, and lush rainforests.
- Mary Valley Rattler is just 42 mins away to good quality cafés, restaurants, gift shops, and more.
- Mt. Bauple National Park has a diverse flora that is ideal for bushwalking, birding, and wildlife viewing.
- Red Rooster Gympie is an established counter-service chain that serves roast chicken, burgers, chips and salads.
- Dickabram Bridge, also known as the oldest road-rail bridge in Queensland provides incredible views of the Mary River.
- Rainbow Beach is a popular tourist attraction known for its colourful cliffs, surfing spot, and beautiful sandy beach.
- Bauple Museum provides an educational tour of the early history and historical records of the earliest settlers in the region.
Getting Around:
By car:
- 40 mins north of Gympie
- 2hr 50 mins (218kms) from Brisbane
- 43 mins from the coastal town of Poona
- 30 mins south of Maryborough (the home of Mary Poppins)
By public transport:
- The closest town by train and bus is Gympie
- Due to the property's rural location, we recommend guests to travel by private vehicle as there is no bus service that travels directly through our property. Once, you have arrived at our property, you will need a car to get around
If you're coming from Brisbane, you have the option to travel to Maryborough Airport and then proceed to Bauple, which is a 30-35 minute drive away.
Other Things to Note:
- No smoking allowed on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- We have 5 dams with the main dam used for boating
- We have a friendly Maremma Sheepdog on the property
- Recycling and waste bins are located near the entrance gate
- We ask guests to dispose of their rubbish in the appropriate bins
- Please note that we have chickens, ducks, and goats on the property
- Please be advised that there will be farm animal noise during your stay
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge.
Guest Advisory
- Guests can use the boat at prior request from the land host
- When using a boat, guests must wear a life jacket and be able to swim
- If you're interested in participating in our farm chores such as feeding, you can contact the land host 24 hrs before arrival
- We would also like to remind guests to follow the safety guidelines discussed with land their host when roaming around the property
Important note:
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the [compost/cassette] toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
