"The house was exactly as described with a beautiful peaceful garden and barbecue area.Our host Alice could not have been more helpful.The location is rural but within easy driving distance of Sancerre.We had a wonderful holiday"

"This place is exceptional just like all of the other reviews have indicated. I can't offer anything else that hasn't already been said. We use VRBO frequently and this was the best experience we've ever had. In terms of notes, there's a spiral staircase that's charming and unique, but may also be challenging depending on your dexterity. Doorways are authentic, so if you're over 5' 4", you'll quickly learn to "bow your head"!"

Les équipements et la vaisselle sont nombreux et de qualité. La literie est impeccable et très confortable . le jardin est grand et arboré, complété par une piscine commune très appréciée quand il fait chaud. Nous conseillons cette location très bien entretenue par ses propriétaires."

"Lovely property, the house was nice and clean, great location. We didn't use the pool as it was not the best weather, but if we had any criticism it would be that the pool floor and walls could do with a good clean, they were a bit dirty."

"The house is stunning, lots of space inside and well equipped. Lovely gardens, the front with a beautiful view of the river and with morning sun, the back of the property with a terrace and big table, BBQ area wonderful meadow and pool. Must return!"

"Un accueil simple et efficace. La location est très bien dimensionné pour le nombre de personnes prévues. Tout les équipements (cuisine, loisirs, SdB, chambres, salon) sont en parfait état. Chauffage a poêle à bois très appréciable. Idéal pour "se mettre au vert" le cadre autour de la maison est très calme. Très arrangeant, je recommande vivement le propriétaire."

"Super amazing house, laetitia and pierre-jean are so welcoming and leave you to it. Great gardens, Swimming pool etc... we had the best time deconnecting from our every day lives. We didnt need much else but surrounding area isn't much to do for teens apart if you like churches and castles 😃"

"We left, couldn’t stay there- the property was not habitable, had black mold on the bedroom walls. VRBO support team wasn’t helpful. Our son contacted the CEO who put us in touch with Executive Support, which got results. Very stressful experience."

"Clean and recently refurbished gite in the middle of Herry. Others please note the staircase is very steep to the first floor and the toilet is located on the ground floor. The property manager was lovely and very attentive."

"Heerlijke week vakantie. Het is op het platte land. Voor leuke uitjes moet je wel een stukje rijden. Fijn dat je het zwembad van de eigenaar mag gebruiken. Zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. "

"The gite we stayed in was very well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The hosts have thought of pretty much everything holidaying family need for their stay. It is well positioned for exploring the Loire valley and especially the hill town of Sancerre itself The reason this is not a five star review is because we really felt that there needed to be a second toilet, preferably on the first floor. A house for six with only one toilet on the ground floor and a spiral staircase to navigate in the...

"The apartment itself was pretty good. Excellent bathroom and a large lounge. It would be good to have some furniture on the balcony. The surrounding area is quiet and a fair distance from any shops or restaurants. The staff, when you could get hold of them. We were staying in Nevers for the motorcycle world championship at nearby Magny Cours. Three days here is long enough."

"Super property, very well equipped with lovely big garden and great shared pool. Plenty of space downstairs and nice bedrooms. A problem was promptly fixed and the hosts were very friendly and helpful."

Wonderful stay and location

"Lovely hotel with modern comfort and beautiful views. Wine bar in hotel and breakfast offered each morning with both hot and cold options. Great location to walk around Sancerre and also close to many walking paths. I'd suggest getting a room with a balcony or view of the valley. "
