"Wir waren 10 Tage im schönen Haus von Pier für unser MTB Trainingslager zur Vorbereitung auf die Rennsaison. Das Haus ist schön ruhig gelegen und hat alles was man braucht und vor allem die Garage für die Bikes war top. Die Kommunikation mit Pier war unkompliziert und er war immer super hilfsbereit."

"This is a modernized hilltop villa set among vines and hazelnut trees. The vista is spectacular. There are two very comfortable bedrooms. The third bedroom has a sofa bed which we did not use. Many closets and drawers. Two very nice bathrooms. Large kitchen fairly well equipped for cooking. We are not so used to the little Mika coffee maker, and wish there was an electric one. "This is a very cool house but the photos and the reality are not one and the same. I was shocked at how rustic the kitchen was. The only pic of the kitchen is the fabulous gas range, but there is a reason they don't show you the rest. It is tiny, with not much storage or countertop space. the marble sink is old and very small. It was a struggle cooking in there. "Entrance to the property is through an impressive gate into a walled garden, with multiple seating areas, the pool and an amazing view of the hills around Toirano. The house is part of a large building that was at one time an olive oil mill, and has retained some of the original features including the oil millstone and some of the workings. "We waren in Ciglie om een weekje te fietsen en hebben het erg goed gehad in Villa Elma. Ciglie is een schitterend dorpje, met niet veel meer dan een kerk, een kasteel en een restaurant. En vooral heel veel prachtige uitzichten. Alles in het huis is netjes afgewerkt en van goede kwaliteit. Recente badkamer met gescheiden douche en bad, al is de douche een beetje klein.
