We enjoyed our stay at the house, the hot tub was great, fair house for the price, wish the wifi would have been more faster, also we believe the house needs a light bolt by the fire pit, we were using our phones flashlight, but overall we enjoyed our stay, we had a good time. Thank you
Very quiet. And relaxing. The hot tub was great. The river was ok fishing. I wished i bought waders and fly rod. Great place to reconnect. The little store less than a mile down road had everything we needed.
The river is very close behind the house and is absolutely gorgeous. The hot tub is definitely a nice add on. The house is cute. The location was a little far away from Hotchatown but the drive was worth it. It's great if you want to get away from the city. We were there for hiking mostly. The location is good for driving to Arkansas for hiking or going back to Broken Bow lake... a nice little stay off the beaten path. There is another cabin across the property but it was not an issue at all.
The cabin was very nice and very clean. It was nice to be outside by the fire pit and in the hot tub.
Nothing around the area. The closest place to buy beer is about 18 miles away, so make sure you bring plenty of food and beverages. The cabin has everything that you need.
The only thing that I was not happy about, was that the river is not like it is showing in the pictures and the water in the shower was not warm. It wasn't cold, but it will not get hot. Other than that it was a very nice place to stay.

Not Clean
Not clean smelled terrible, firewood was old and rotten yard was not nice, mice droppings everywhere and dead mice under sink that dead for a while. I’m glad I only booked 2 nights.
Because the road signs and business signage is missing or faded, directions to location is hard to follow. Cabin is actually about 30 minutes north of Hochatown. River is not accessible because of overgrown brush. There was not a gas grill. Instead there was a small open top charcoal grill. Hot tub was set on 107 degrees which is too hot for a cardiac patient…could not get it to cool down. Cabin was very clean and stocked well. A very peaceful and comfortable place to relax.

Cute but NOT closeTo
Cute quiet little cabin. It was further away than I had anticipated. If it were my cabin I’d look for another cleaning company bc it wasn’t as clean as I’d expect. One side of bottom of the toilet clean and the side next to the shower was very dirty. Behind toilet very dirty. Wash cloths and hand were kinda just thrown in the cabinet.
We enjoyed the hot tub and slept comfortably. Dishes and pots and plans a plenty! Kitchen was nicely stocked! No DVD player remote so not all dvds will work. Outdoor Pictures were very misleading.
If you stay here plan on driving a lot of town is your destination! It’s half an hour from town.
If you are looking for somewhere secluded this is the place. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Yes there is another cabin directly door but it wasn’t occupied during our stay so very quite. Downfall is that the river was very low and 30 minutes from Hochatown.

3 star at best
The property is not on a river, barely a creek with no easy access. It wasn’t very clean. Something was splashed all over the refrigerator. It was fairly gross.
Place was nice we enjoyed it, but definitely the outside surroundings looks nothing like the pictures that are online. You do have neighbors, bit overall it was a nice place. It is far from your nearest store so make sure you have everything you need. Will go back

Definitely worth reading reviews before staying!!!
I had to call the emergency line to get my Cabin information because it was never sent. I think that it was a internet/email mishap in that part though. The guy that returned my call was very quick at responding and getting the information To me. It was just me and my husband staying at this cabin during this time……. I would Stop at the grocery store prior to your stay!!! It will be more than a 30 min drive to a supermarket if not. Pruitts groceries is their place for groceries. The Walmart has a few things for food but no produce. The Cabin is equipped with everything for cooking (pots and pans), eating and drinking ware, and utensils, paper towels, towels, and cup towels but they did not have any essentials like coffee, tea, sugar, or spices, except for salt and pepper. Make sure to bring your own shampoo and soap to take a shower. That is also something that is not provided. No blow dryer, I also wish they would have had a tea kettle but we used the coffee pot for hot water. If you do not have AT&T the service will not work. I feel like that should be stated in the directions. I had AT&T so that wasn’t an issue. The directions threw us way off. We went through Beavers Bend state park in the night and had no clue where we were going. We eventually got to the cabin though. I would recommend staying on the main hwy 259 instead of of trying to find the 259 A. Once you arrive to Hochatown it will be about 25-30 min to get to the Cabin. I also would recommend putting in Sullivans landing and market in the gps and following the rest of the directions to the Cabin from there. There is construction going on near the road to turn on where you will see the family medical center sign and Battiest School. BE AWARE!! Lots of curvy roads!!! I read the reviews prior to the stay here and decided to give it at shot. It is a cute little cabin and is quiet except for when cars are passing on the main road. There is also a bigger Cabin next to this little one but it wasn’t much of a bother. Also, there is a house next to these cabins as well. The only thing I was concerned about is that there were wasp flying around(not a lot but random ones) there must have been a nest in the vents because that’s where they were going. Very disappointed in the hot tub too The temperature wasn’t hot and was just warm not hot. Oh, And the towel holder in the back bedroom was broken. The stay was ok but I doubt we will be back.
We really enjoyed our stay as it was relaxing! The property has all we needed. Fully stocked kitchen! Only item missing that was needed was a cork screw. Our neighbors were a little loud the fist night but they were having fun. It is definitely a good 25 minute drive from the busy. The roads were sketchy but looks to be a work in progress. Internet was not too good at times and I definitely didn't have any Verizon cell service, but my husband's AT&T service did work most of the time. We would stay again for the place and price for sure.
What a great find! We enjoyed being away from all the Hochatown traffic. The house was clean and had everything we needed and more. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and we were able to make an amazing meal on the grill. There was a lot to explore on the property, with 2 short trails going down to the river. We will definitely be back!

First off its to far away from Beavers bend to say its a short drive. I felt like I was always driving. Plus the address posted to the site is wrong its in Battiest. I felt like was miss lead on the rental. The cabin was very nice and private. We did enjoy it when we was there. Just hope you don't need anything from the store because its going take you a while get there.
Not anything what we thought
No WiFi to many houses around

River Rock Cabin
The river is nice, but not what it seems in the photos. Cabin was great, no internet service at all, even though they gave us a Wifi password, and no cell service at all with was fine, except no GPS to get anywhere. There was a notebook with attractions, etc., but no maps or directions to get to anything. Just drove around till we found our way to where we wanted to go. Overall it was a nice place to stay, but could have been better.
The cabin is literally about 30 minutes outside of town and off a highway. The "creek" it shows pictures of behind the house is down a super steep embankment and not even accessible. The cabin is next to a residence, so we basically spent hundreds of dollars to drive to a HOUSE in the middle of no where with a 12 inch TV in one room and no where near a lake or stream. The house is run down and not completely kept up. I was very disappointed.
