"The lodge is a beautiful property. The people all seemed very friendly and helpful. We had a couple of issues. Our room was apparently directly below the bar, and the noise of voices and furniture moving was so loud we could hardly talk together. I don't suppose there's anything to be done about it, and it did end by 11 pm, somewhat past the bedtime of old folks like us. The other problem is squeaky door hinges. The door of the room next door was so loud that even my mostly deaf husband asked...

"Beautiful property, the rooms were very clean and communication with owners was awesome. It has minor issues being an old building which didn't affect my stay, such as some noisy floors under the carpet, and the fact that it does not have an elevator. But we loved the stay, this hotel makes you feel part of the town history. My oldest kids found it great to stay here. We loved Dahlonega and will definutely visit again. "

"Very beautiful property within walking distance of downtown Highlands. This is a special hotel with a modern/eclectic and eco friendly feel. Only downfall was they promised coffee and pastries for breakfast, and all that was on the buffet was one plate with a few slices of banana bread. Loved the breakfast/gathering room. "

"Excellent place. Newer hotel. Fresh baked cookies available all day. Great breakfast. refrigerator llocated in room larger than most at other hotels. Park and river located on back side of hotel with places to sit and enjoy your family.highly recommend."

"The property is very well maintained, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, they leave at about 5 PM and as a result for sometime, I was the only person in the whole place. I tried very hard to make sure I didn’t think about the movie “The Shining”. Once I got comfortable, it was very nice! I highly recommend."
