Apartments in Basel-Stadt

"Ok place to stay with a small kitchenette, close to the train station & shops, and food places that are open relatively later during the evening. Note: there is no reception deck. You have to connect through emails/ calls. The same code is used to enter the building, your room, and other sections. The issue is that one is supposed to get code a day in advance, which has not worked well for 2 times I have stayed here. One gets a quick response after contacting the Vision Apartments support team...

Carmen was very accommodating and was quick to respond to messages if we needed anything. My friend, my boyfriend and I stayed here during a visit for Basler Fasnacht and it was exactly what we needed. We would all highly recommend this beautiful apartment!"

"Wrong code provided for lockbox!! No hot water at 8pm. Property was worn out, needed renovation 30+ years ago. Musty/mildewy smell. Will make me shy away from VRBO properties in the future."

Both towns have a pharmacy, bakery, restaurants, and shops. Colmar, France is 45 minutes away and the train station in Basil is about 6 km. "

"Great place to stay in Basel. Close to public transportation. The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed had all basic amenities for a family of 4. A full size kitchen , washer dryer was awesome. The AC was not that good but a fan in the room helped. It would have been great to have a fan in each room. We kept the windows slightly open to let some fresh cool air in at night. But it invited some bugs too.. and noise of trams& cars passing by. Extra towels would have been helpful, we had to wash...
