I was given a room on the 4th floor in the back. It was nice and quiet. The room was clean. The furniture was old and dilapidated, but I didn't care. I was on a conference trip at the university. The shower was nice and strong, and so was the wifi, and that was all I needed. I had a croissant, cold cuts, and a bowl of fruit every morning with a glass of orange juice and a cup of tea, which I was perfectly happy with. The staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke perfect English. The location was very convenient.
The only part that made me a bit uncfortable had to do with the thin walls other guests have mentioned in their reviews. When my neighbors were trying to open their doors at night, it sounded as if they were literally opening mine. It was scary. I also had trouble opening the door with the key and taking out the key after the door was opened, which I think had to do with the worn condition of the building.
Overall, I think this is a perfectly sensible place to stay if you're on a business trip.
