The Willits neighborhood
- Willits Town Center is less than a mile away with plenty of shops and great restaurants
- El Jebel Shopping Center is across Highway 82
- Historic downtown Basalt has more fun shops and restaurants
- Whole Foods and City Market grocery stores are located 1-2 miles away.

Bus riders
The Roaring Fork Transportation Authority buses meet with connecting buses at the Brush Creek and Hwy 82 Lot (to travel to Snowmass Village or Woody Creek). There is a local stop (called Sagewood) 5 minutes from the townhome. Or use the Park-n-Ride in Basalt or El Jebel.
Skiing
There are 4 ski mountains towards Aspen.
Ajax (Aspen Mtn), Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk, and Snowmass.
Sunlight mountain skiing is located in Glenwood Springs (a 40-minute drive).
Biking
There are numerous road and mountain biking trails nearby. The semi-flat Rio Grand Trail connects Aspen to Glenwood.
Glassier Trail is an intermediate/moderate trail you can hike, run, and mountain bike. ... This is a 1.6-mile dirt trail on the Glassier Open Space that links with The Crown in Basalt, CO. Prince Creek, also called the Prince Creek Trails, is a network of trails you can hike, run, and mountain bike that is dog friendly.
**Townhome Owner - lives part-time in the ground-level bedroom of the townhome (with a separate entrance through the garage) and does not use the guest areas (kitchen/living room and dining area), while you are there. There is a 3-panel wall divider - separating the guest's living room area from the downstairs
There is a $75 per visit pet fee. **Please keep your pets with you as much as possible, while not at home. Note: this is a townhome complex with close neighbors. If your pet is left at home with excessive barking, this may warrant the termination of your stay. Pets aren’t allowed on the furniture at any time. Any evidence of pets on the furniture may incur extra cleaning fees.
