"The rooms were huge, spacious and very comfortable. heating and cooling options were great. The lobby and bar areas were done up beautifully for Christmas. We arrived at 2.30pm and they wouldn’t let us check in until 3pm which was a bit annoying. Many of the lamps in the room didn’t work which made reading in bed hard as the room was very dark. "Very good hotel and staff, let down by attention to detail. TV system needed the channel list updating and fixing - BBC1 was on channel 2 and named "BBC 2" and vice versa. Neither channel presented EPG information. Other channels were out-dated. The only problem I had, being a disabled person, was that the body wash and shampoo bottles in the bathroom were placed too high for me to use conveniently. The siting of the TV in the room was also not convenient because it is placed at an angle to the bed. The room was clean."
