The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to cook a lavish evening meal or make a simple sandwich. The bedroom is a good size with a kingsize bed as the centrepiece and the bathroom is modern and stylish with a shower. Newton in Furness is a quiet village located a few minutes away from the main road that acts as a pathway to the Lakes The village has two local Pubs one only 100m away from the property and the other only 350m away from the property.
Within a couple of miles drive is Barrow in Furness which has a variety of shops and supermarkets, additionally there are a good selection of bars, restaurants, and cafes. Local attractions include the Dock Museum, celebrating Barrow’s history as a builder of submarines for the Royal Navy. Other nearby attractions include Walney Island with its nature reserves which offer a broad selection of wildlife, including seals, which use the island for breeding each year, it’s also a magnet for kite surfers.
Within 15 minutes’ drive there is the South Lakes Safari Zoo showcasing animals from across the globe. Newton In Furness also offers great access to some of the Lake Districts most icon areas, such as Lake Windermere and the popular towns and villages which line its banks, including Bowness, Ambleside and Windermere itself.
