"I didn’t see one cop the entire time I was there. That should tell you how safe Loquillo is. On the weekends it’s loud all weekend. There was someone over the loud speaker till about 6am but I slept through it for the most part. It’s very walkable and have a few great restaurants in the area. The room was so clean. I went solo and never felt like I was in danger. The beach is right around the corner. There is good coffee and breakfast across the street and a liquor store/bar pretty much across the street. Loved it. "

"The owners were very friendly and helpful! We visited in the off season, so they had some renovations ongoing. It didn’t detract from the experience and love that they love their business! The room was super clean and the beds are comfortable. We could see the ocean from our windows :)"
