"Nice area to sit outside, well stocked kitchen, each room has a cabinet for items, basket of fruit from owner’s garden and lovely cake was on one of the tables for guests to enjoy. Diana works very hard keeping the place clean and is always available if have any questions. Short walk to two excellent local restaurants, small but well stocked supermarket and the Trilho Ecologico da Urzelina (TEU), a beautiful 3 KM coast path. "

"This house is great. Located mid-island, it is convenient for travel all over the island. Shopping is nearby and some of the best restaurants are easy to reach. We strongly recommend Magma (just about 1 mile from house), Cinco (located in Madalena) and Mar Sushi Terrace (located in Lajes). All of these restaurants are really good, and priced properly. Service is exceptional. We stayed in this house for 14 days and really enjoyed the surroundings and the noise of the ocean crashing into the rocks. "

"The staff spoke English and were very helpful. The location of this hotel was perfect! If you want to see the stone arch, it is next door to the hotel. If you want to swim in the natural pool, it is on the other side of the hotel. The hotel also has a pool and lovely grounds. The breakfast is great, as well. Sao Jorge Gardens if definitely a place I will stay again."

"Very unique property. Great view. Loved the layout of property. For additional cost provided breakfast basket each day. Town has a well stocked grocery store nearby. Very picturesque village with a wonderful wine bar."

"The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The bed wasn't the greatest - the mattress is very firm. The location was good, central to the island so we could explore all regions over three days. There is a small grocery store just down the street and a great restaurant within walking distance. A guestbook would be helpful as we drove 20 minutes to find a grocery store on our first day. Check-in was seamless and the apartment was very clean. Overall we were very happy with our stay. "

"Host was incredibly friendly and gracious. We Loved this property. Breakfast was perfect! Freshly made to order eggs along with cheeses, meat bread etc. it was literally a two minute drive to the airport but we could not hear any planes coming and going. We enjoyed the pool very much! Highly Recommend"
