"This cabin couldn't be cozier! It really lives up to its name as a "romantic retreat". The window seat is perfect for a sunny afternoon nap or to curl up with a book and some cocoa by the warmth of the fire. Mornings are beautiful as the sun shines dappled light in the trees. So peaceful. The surround sound is also great, we connected our phone via bluetooth and the music enhanced the cozy ambiance. "My son (14) and I (49) ised the cabin as a jump off spot to snowboard Cannon and Waterville Valley. It was a bit of a drive to each but worth it to hang out in the woods. I think I saw one car go by the whole time. But, amenities are not too far away. We cooked all our meals, and the knives need sharpening. "

"We returned to the same cabin 3 years later. In addition to swimming and hiking right at the property, we took an afternoon trip to Stowe and another to Burlington. Back at the cabin, we enjoyed a family fun night playing pool, air hockey, darts, and cornhole in the basement. We also cooked several meals in the well stocked kitchen. The cabin serves as a comfortable home base to explore Vermont!"
