Located near the center of Barranco, it was an easy three block walk to the ocean and close to everything you need including good restaurants, markets, etc. The entire place is clean and welcoming. and the included breakfast is made to order (including fresh squeezed orange juice). "One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The building is over a hundred years old and therefore not perfect but the elegance and charm of a bygone era have been authentically preserved. I'm a big fan of high ceilings and these ones are an amazing four meters in height. The bathroom was tasteful and modern. The common areas have an eclectic mix of antiques interspersed throughout the property. Last but certainly not least the owner and staff were full of advice on places to eat and things...

"Decent hotel, very friendly staff. Not alot within walking distance except 1 nice restaurant. Only complaint was bed was as firm as i have ever experienced. I ached like i had slept on the floor. Oversized firm pillows disnt help. Asked and recieved extra pillows that werent so firm which helped, but it wasnt good sleeping for either of us. I feel bad saying as the staff was so great"
