"Reception was kind and welcoming, but the room (Dolcetto) was very odd. Tried to find it charming, a long cave, but it's strange. The foot of the bed is right upon the curtains on the opposite wall. Sleep was the big problem. The room sits over the socializing courtyard and restaurant. The mild thump of music continued into the evening, followed after closing by voices laughing in the courtyard below the room. The drapes are too thin to block out the light in the courtyard. "The relais is a stunning property. They have maintained the charm of the vintage property but provided all of the creature comforts of a five star first class hotel with the service to match. The staff did everything to make our short stay a memorable one. We hope to return again next year."

Peaceful retreat

"We were lucky enough to stay here for five nights. Each morning we woke up to fog rolling through the vineyard that slowly revealed the amazing views through out the day. The home was as pictured, well appointed with items we needed for cooking and relaxing. Everything was quite comfortable. Michael and Diana were both so pleasant and communicative through the entire process. Dreaming of a return trip in the warmer months to make use of the beautiful pool!"

"The staff was friendly, informative, and helpful. They gave us were amazing dining recommendations. The property is a decent walk to town center which is fine but it’s not a pretty walk. The birds were very loud. There was a Saturday night disco and people talking loudly at night. "

Top class hotel

"Could not fault my stay at Phi Cavalieri. The on site restaurant serves the most excellent food and the staff are amazing. The rooms are of a very high standard with everything that you would expect from a 4 star hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Bra."
