"Beautiful hotel in a lovely location. Artwork, sculptures and memorabilia are a real treat. We didn’t eat any meals there, but thins looked and smelled great! Bedroom was beautifully decorated and the bed was huge and super comfy. Only small detractors for us were the reception music plays all day, through till nearly midnight. Which we could hear in our room the whole time. The bathrooms need some work, but the hotel acknowledge this and left a note to say they’re working on it as their next...

"Excellent facilities for a large party with good provision of bathrooms. Kitchen well stocked with crockery and cutlery and large dining table for shared meals. Good outside arrangements for the better weather days. Good directions from owner gave shortest journey of 2 miles from nearest main road; once we knew the the route it felt shorter. Plenty of great places to visit only a short drive away."
