Desirable Barnstable Village Private Retreat

A quiet country lane in desirable Barnstable Village is the location of this magical Cape Cod property. The enchanting setting features 3400 square feet of pure Cape Cod charm tucked away on a private acre of park-like rolling grounds.
The open floor plan downstairs features spacious living room with double sofas and smart tv(Netflix, cable and Hulu included), den with built in bookshelves featuring a nautical library, table for games or puzzles, reading nook, desk for working on your computer and gas fireplace.
Fully stocked chefs’ kitchen. Plenty of counter space and center island with seating for 4-6. Gas Range. Refrigerator, Microwave, Kitchen Aid Mixer and Cuisinart.
Attached dining room table seats up to 10 people with amazing view of the front yard gardens.
Year round sun- room is a perfect vantage point to watch the birds outside in the beautiful gardens from the expanse of windows.
Outdoors you will find a grill, outdoor dining and seating area under pergola in the front yard, and the safety of a large yard to relax and play in after a day at the beach. We offer a transferable Barnstable beach sticker to anyone staying at the house which will allow you to visit a number of Barnstable County beaches.
This house is one of three on this quiet country lane and is not a party house but the perfect location for families.

Sprawling, comfortable home
We so enjoyed our weekend stay at this truly wonderful home. So close to Barnstable Village yet it felt like we had our own "private Idaho".My niece and family visited we all were out front lounging and watching the 3 and a half year old run about the vast front lawn w/ her auntie. Played many games of Bingo in the game room, the fireplace was a delight. Kitchen is a great place to hang out as well, loved the labels, much easier to locate items. I would imagine during the summer, all the windows and doors open it must be terrific. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Vacation House!

Beautiful home and property
We greatly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and well-cared for property in late September. It has everything you need for a family gathering. The kitchen is well-equipped and we were able to make some great meals. And the dogs loved the yard! The bedrooms were perfect (and spread out for privacy). All furnishings were tasteful and comfortable. The property is in a great location — close to the many area beaches and the Bass Hole Boardwalk at Gray’s Beach. We also went to the Flats in Brewster which, as always, were incredible at low tide. The nearby market in the Village was a great find and we enjoyed the cafe next door. We had an exceptional meal at Leonessa in Yarmouth Port to celebrate my mother’s 88th birthday — I would highly recommend it. By far, this is the best property we have ever stayed at thru VRBO. Thank you for sharing your home.

Roomy home in quiet area of Cape Cod.
Such a roomy house. Plenty of space and very private - off the main road, only about a mile away from the charming little town of Barnstable. The house was very clean and the owners left essentials such as beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, kitchen necessities, games, etc which was a huge plus so we did not have to pack many of these vacations needs.

The house was great with a spacious yard that we used often. The two interior tables were great so the adults could sit at one table and the kids at another. The home felt spacious and we never felt on top of one another. The kitchen was the center of entertaining and the place we hung out most. Well stocked. The owner was fantastic and easy to work with. We had a fantastic time in this spacious, comfortable, and attractive home. The location was great, vert quiet and private. We made good use of the large yard! The outdoor shower was a hut with everyone in our group. Well appointed kitchen and tastefully decorated throughout. The owner was very quick to respond to messages in advance of our visit.

A memorable stay
We stayed at this property during the July 4th weekend and we were excited to be the 1st renters of this property. The property is in a serene location and we loved the fact that it is quiet and peaceful. The house is well decorated and furnished according to the Cape :) We had a lovely weekend and i cannot thank Heather enough for helping us with every single thing we asked for. The owner's suggestions about the local beaches helped us save time and we could spend quality time with our friends and family. This property is kid friendly too and comes with lots of games for children. This house has outside seatings on either sides and it was relaxing to hear the bird sounds. Overall the experience was amazing and we would love to go back there anytime soon.
