"Stayed at Two Cottages with my family and friends were at One Cottages! Our Cottage was really distinctive and both tasteful and comfortable plus the location right next to the beach was a real bonus. We were only there for a 4 day/night break but it felt a lot longer and James the owner was there to welcome us and was on hand if there was anything we needed (thanks James). Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of booking!"

"The place was spacious and made an excellent base for exploring the Suffolk area whilst being really quiet. Shower wasn't great but they'd provided all the utensils you'd need for cooking and enjoying your stay. Bed had a rubber cover and there was a noisy liner under the bed sheet which made it very warm but it was comfortable. Decor and furnishings are fairly budget but it's good value and ultimately a nice space to relax and enjoy the evening after a day out exploring and walking."

"A very friendly host. Great location for walking on heath land and the Suffolk coastal path. Within easy reach of Minsmere and Sutton Hoo. Thorpeness is a very interesting fantasy coastal resort developed for the wealthy in the early 20th century. Worth a visit for its architecture alone."

"Lovey and clean right next to car park great camp lovely staff "

"We enjoyed our stay - the property was clean and is well looked after. It is a traditional chalet in a private holiday park which has some good amenities - at an extra cost. We appreciated the help from the owner when we needed it and was helpful at answering our queries before our stay. There are a few things that would make our score excellent - clarity of cost of electricity and instructions in the chalet of how to use it would have been helpful. "Great price and great views, I love this area of England. The hotel did seem a little dated and the food fairly overpriced. However the breakfast was great! Spacious rooms however not much amenities in the rooms and the shower gel etc is horrible. Dont use it. Use your own. "

Lovely hotel

"Lovely hotel, with a nice restaurant and bar. good location about 20 mins walk to the city centre. Was lucky enough to have a room with a view of the football pitch and even watched the match from the comfort of our room with a cup of tea."
