"What a lovely cottage! It had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Beautiful, quiet setting near Stirling. We explored the jail and the castle. Took the train to Edinburgh (not a lot of parking at the station). Drove to the ferry to Isle of Arran (take your car if you can). This cottage is in a great location for touring the Edinburgh/Glasgow area."

"After a long trip from Australia, this property was just the place to recover from jet lag. Its position was great for us as it is near the family we are here to see. It is also within easy walking range to the Westend and the Botanic Gdns. Comfortably furnished and well equipped. We are booking in again."

"What a wonderful stay! We wanted a quiet semi rural location, and this comfortable house was perfect. Light-filled, very well-equipped, ingenious design elements, spacious bathrooms, snug and warm on a rainy day, as breezy as you’d like on a sunny day. The location was fantastic as a home base for day trips, Linlithgow very close by with plenty of excellent places to eat and good shopping. The train to Edinburgh is a convenient quick hop."

"This was a wonderful place to meet up with family and stay. It is surrounded by sheep and cows. Beautiful grounds. The house was cozy with lots of windows with great views. We cooked with family and had everything we needed. I could have stayed longer. I truly enjoyed it here. It is close to many sites. It is also a great place for. Down day. Quiet and relaxing. "There was a Christmas tree and decorations which made the house feel quite festive. The house was very comfortable and warm with plenty of space for the family of 5 adults and a dog. The facilities were a bit mixed - The living room tv was not working but this was sorted quite quickly. The kitchen is great to cook in but could do with another fridge or wine cooler as only a standard under worktop one provided. Not quite enough for lots of food and drinks.
