The view from the front of the cottage over the reservoir is gorgeous, and a first floor reading nook is so cosy and gives the feeling of being by the sea side! The property is really tastefully decorated, making it feel like a home from home. The check in process was really smooth and easy to understand. The weather during our visit was terrible but we would love to come back again with better weather to take advantage of all...

"Law Brook Farm Cottage is a lovely little getaway. It is cosy and compact and clean throughout. It’s inviting and the bed is comfy. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere but for a city girl the country is going to be a little different. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful retreat it’s perfect. Paul is friendly and on hand if you need him as he lives next door. So you are not completely on your own in the middle of nowhere. Overall a lovely stay "

"We loved our time staying at Midsummer Barn. The pictures online do not do it justice. It has character and charm. It is spacious and comfortable and well equipped for everything a family needs for time away. There were fresh eggs and cider to welcome us which was a lovely touch. "The property was as described and was clean and comfortable and in a good location. Check in was easy. However this is the only property I have EVER stayed in that didnt provide any tea coffee milk etc. Even budget hotels do this. It made the place seem unwelcoming and meant we hsd nothing to drink on arrival after a long journey. The same applies to the minute amount of hand soap provided. Also, a bin bag would have been useful. Parking was ok but was on the street and at a distance...fine...

"We had an amazing stay, loved the atmosphere and the view from the property, the pictures don’t quite capture how cozy it was. The garden is fenced and chicken wire all around so was very secure for our pet. we would love to stay here again and would definitely recommend to friends "
