Accessibility - 6 floors above street level. Elevator (10 steps to elevator)

Apartment description - 2 bedroom newly remodeled apartment with 1 bathroom. One full bathroom, with shower, toilet, sink. Complete kitchen including oven, microwave oven and full-size refrigerator. Master bedroom with 140 x 200 cm bed. 2nd bedroom has one single bed (90 x 190cm). Dining area facing South. Futon in dining area with slide-under extra-bed (2x 180x80cm)

For maximum comfort this apartment is centrally air-conditioned and has central gas heating as well.

Location - The apartment is in the historical part of the Eixample area, at short distance and midway from the Sagrada Familia temple and Passeig de Gracia shopping.

Transportation - Near Verdaguer metro station (on yellow and blue lines) and several bus lines. Very easy to get to by taxi.

Management - We are a small family company. Lauren is from Dallas, TX and Fernando is from Barcelona, Spain. We currently run 16 holiday apartments in Barcelona, 2 furnished homes in Dallas and 8 holiday apartments in Istanbul. We apply our same high standards in every country.

Noise levels - The apartment faces away from the street, into an ample interior courtyard.

Occupancy - The apartment is ideally suited for 3 people. It can sleep up to 5.

Check-in and check-out - The apartment will be ready for you at 16:30 for occupancy. You can drop your bags and get your keys from 12:00 (noon). Check-out time is 11:30am. You can request reserved early check-in or late check-out for a small fee, subject to availability. There is no extra fee for nighttime check-in. We have our office in the same building.

We stayed at this location for over three weeks for work, and the place is in an excellent location—within walking distance to everything. There are three metro lines just a 5-7 minute walk away. The apartment has everything you need for a pleasant stay, but… if you're a light sleeper, you might want to consider staying somewhere else. I found it interesting that the advertisement describes it as a "quiet place," because it is far from quiet. From the main bedroom, you can hear everything happening in the apartment next door. Almost every other day, there were parties or loud conversations until 11:00 pm or later. One night, around 3:00 am, we heard screaming— a female voice shouting and a man yelling at her. It was scary, to say the least. When we expressed our concern, they said there was nothing they could do because the apartment was under a one-year lease. As a result, we had to sleep in the living room area just to get some rest. Other than this issue, the place is great. Maybe you'll be lucky and the noisy neighbors will be gone by the time you stay there.

It was a good stay..Lillian gave very good instructions on how to store our luggage which was a big deal for us. Location was the best. How do I look at all the apartments that is in the office building on Sant Joan? I understand those apartments are the best? I would actually stay with you on my next trip to Barcelona. Thank You

The house is big and clean with a cute rooftop. Host is super helpful. Location is walkable to many main attractions. Everything is perfect except the bedroom is quite noisy that you can even hear people talking next door.

Wonderful location
Great location ,easy check in instructions. The place would benefit from some better towels( they were more like floor mats) ,better blankets and better wifi( you had to find the right spot in the apartment to connect) . Love the roof top deck ,360 view of Barcelona . Lauren was also very accommodating to us .

Wir waren zu viert (zwei Paare) unterwegs. In der Unterkunft gibts ein Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett, ein Wohnzimmer mit ausklappbarer Couch sowie ein Kinderzimmer mit Einzelbett. De Wohnung war besser ausgestattet als beschrieben, es gab Handtücher, Fön, Küchenutensilien... Da das nirgends stand, hatten wir alles mitgemacht. Die Lage ist super. Man kann alles gut zu Fuß erlaufen. Kleiner Kritikpunkt: Man muss im Schlafzimmer die Tür auflassen, da kein Fenster. Mit Privatsphäre wird es also schwierig.

Three days in Barcelona
The apartment and its location was perfect for our short stay in Barcelona. It’s close to the Sagrada Familia, and other fantastic areas are easily accessible by walking. We didn’t take any public transportation, but it was nearby. The apartment was lovely, clean, and there is a terrace on the roof to enjoy the amazing views. Check in process was easy, and we were able leave our bags while we waited for the apartment as our flight arrived early. Overall, a great apartment for our family of 4, and we would definitely stay here again.

Nice central location
We really enjoyed our time in Barcelona, The flat was spacious, the bed comfortable and we liked the central location and the ease of getting around the city. Very frugal from an amenities standpoint. Would have been nice to have shower gel, soap, bottled water, maybe- the personal touch. We never saw the owner or manager. As to the property itself, could use a good updating. BUT the WiFi is terrible. Do not expect to stay logged on for any length of time. Really frustrating; from routine google searches to email, to Facebook. It’s slow and unreliable.

Très belle appartement, lumineux ! L’emplacement est top, à 5 min du métro et 3 min des bus. Les hôtes étaient très facilement joignable. L’appartement est très facile d’accès à l’arrivée.

Comfortable tourist apartment
Very comfortable apartment, although tired & needing an upgrade, it was is mostly as represented. The bedrooms were clean & comfortable, perfect for a family with 2 kids. Although the kitchen was dark & gloomy, it was generally clean & well-stocked. The roof-top terrace was a disappointment - grimy and not a very pleasant place to hang out. The internet didn't work for our entire 4 day stay, and the manager was unable to correct it. The air con functioned fine. Certainly a good location for a brief stay in Barcelona as it is an easy walk to most sights, however, if staying longer in the city then I would look for a quieter location. Somewhat overpriced.

Much more outdated than shown. Only wifi in stairwell. Never had any contact with owners!
We have traveled to Europe many times and are accustomed to the lifestyle and furnishings. Unfortunately, the owners never replied to our texts. The linens were in poor shape. The first time we used a bath towel it fell apart! It was in a great area and fit most of our needs. The only critizism is that the communications were non-existant. Don't count on the wifi either!

Nice apartment but needs updating
This apartment was in a great location, with cafés, bus stops and the tube stop nearby. The facilities were all as described and it was very clean, however the apartment is looking very tired. It is in need of a facelift, new linen and towels and updated kitchen too. The air con, unfortunately, was not particularly efficient and is the first thing we would have changed. Upon arrival, the cot and high chair we had arranged were not at the apartment so we had to wait a couple of hours before they arrived and we could put our baby to sleep. The map we were promised detailing the local area also failed to arrive. Some kind of welcome pack would have been ideal. It's also worth noting that although the apartment does have a lift, it is up 8 steps which is a little awkward if you have a pushchair and suitcases.

A little bit tatty in a great location
This is an interesting one. The location is very good for most of the sights and we walked everywhere. There were 4 of us and it was good value for all of us and we spent most of our time outside the flat. I had read all the reviews and was assured that all the past issues had been rectified. However, the flat is still tatty and is in need of a real update. Then, it would be marvellous. The furniture is low budget, the bedsheets tired, the towels are still old and grey and there were little ants in the bathroom. The inside of the washing machine was very dusty and we chose not to use it. I did not find the kitchen inviting to use. But it did serve the purpose and we had a lift to take us to the top floor so it had its plusses. If I were the owner I would invest in this apartment and give it a most necessary uplift.
