A good stay.
Overall a good stay. We liked the location, really close to the beach and in a nice neighbourhood. 20mins into centre of town. We were looking to self cater, but the apartment was missing a few useful kitchen items (chopping board, tea towels etc), but not a big issue. No real access to balcony - we had thought from the description it had a balcony we could use.

Great Value for Money - Comfortable & spacious.
The apartment was quite large, comfortable, well equipped, and in my mind, in a good location (where we were looking for...close to the beach, yet not too far away from Plaza Cataluña). Despite I specifically selected a 2 bedroom apartment for 4, the 2nd room only had 1 bed, which implied that one of the kids had to sleep on the extensible couch, which was no problem. But I was expecting 4 "formal" beds, which as we walked in was a deception. The unit had 2 AC which neither of them really worked well - could not get any cold air from them. Called the Co. that administers these flats, and in less than 15min, had 2 powerful fans that were good enough so that we could sleep well. I strongly advise for you to coordinate the key handover - I had replied to them saying that was arriving at 8pm, but nobody replied to my message (I later found out that they actually were aware of this, but somehow messed it up). When I called them from outside the flat, I actually had to call hotels.com, who kindly somehow got somebody to call me back to let me in. Took 1hr the joke since arriving and being stranded at the street with the family until we got in.

Location was good, beds great
All was very good except some confusion upon arrival and access to our unit No front desk, and a wrong contact number. We called expedia and were able to make contact with someone to let us in. Unit is in an apartment group. Contact person was very helpful. Cleaning staff did not replace burnt out lights and left no kitchen supplies (dish soap, dish clothes, etc) Otherwise the apartment was great. I feel most check-in issues were caused by expedia and caused concern upon our arrival. (my husband, an electrician, says the light switch into the bathroom from the full-sized bedroom needs to be replaced) Sweet Inn did pay for our taxi ride to the airport for our inconveniences.

Perfect location
Perfect location for most activities - beach, zoo, metro only a few minutes away. Couldnt find groceries nearby, but didn't search everywhere. When traveling with children - 10 and 13, it is very nice to have some space, and this apartment was perfect for the four of us!

Great location for the beach
It was only a 10 minute walk to the beach, but getting to shops and restaurants took longer, approximately 30 minutes. As there are 3 locked doors to pass through, it might be helpful to remind guests to unlock all 3 doors before vacating the apartment at the end of their stay (and leaving the keys in the apartment) to avoid being locked in at the gate. Fortunately this didn't happen to us, but a heads up will prevent it happening to someone else!

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen...
Die Lage ist perfekt, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Keine 10 Minuten bis zur Metro oder zum Supermarkt. 15 Minuten zum Strand. Die Einrichtung ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Hier täte eine Erneuerung sehr gut! Die roten Beistelltische fallen auseinander, wenn man etwas drauf legt, weil die Schrauben fehlen. Die Putzfrau weiß das offensichtlich und hat deshalb die Fernbedienung kunstvoll so hingelegt, dass alles im Gleichgewicht ist. Die Stühle sind vielleicht originell, weil aus der Zeit von Olympia 1992, aber doch schon sehr abgeschrammt. Die Fenster sind topdreckig, das Sofa ist extrem staubig und sollte unbedingt mal richtig gereinigt werden. Der Bezug ist ja abnehmbar dank IKEA ;-) Alles in allem eigentlich ein schönes Apartment, wenn man mal ein bisschen in die Pflege investiert.

Sehr schönes Apartment in guter Lage
Das Haus ist erstmal ein bißchen schwer zu finden, also unbedingt vorher eine genaue Wegbeschreibung heraussuchen. Von außen wirkt das Haus sehr alt und baufällig, aber innen war das Apartment perfekt. Alles da, was man braucht. Es war frisch renoviert, die Küche gut ausgestattet, das Bad war schön und das Schlafzimmer auch. Alles war nett dekoriert und mit Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Die Lage war für uns sehr gut, zum Strand sind es nur ein paar Minuten und die Gegend ist nicht so touristisch, wie andere in Barcelona. Daher auch gute Möglichkeiten zum Essen gehen in der Umgebung. Wir würden das Apartment in jedem Fall wieder buchen.

A perfect stay in Barcelona
We spent 3 nights in the Passatge de Mas de Roda, 26 apartment. After we had arrived to the address we realized that the apartment was closed. Fortunately we found a telephone a number on the Internet and I could speak with a staff member. After a few minutes an other staff member arrived. The girl was really helpful and kind. She told us that this is the regular process, everybody should call them. She showed us everything in the apartment and gave us a list of restaurants and supermarkets what she recommended to us. The apartment was well equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, ...) and clean. The bed was comfortable. The location was also perfect: just a 5 min walk away a metro station, 10 min walk away a beach.
