Professionally Decorated Balcony Apartment

Accessibility - 3 floors above street level. Elevator (10 steps to elevator)

Apartment description - 2 bedroom newly remodeled apartment with 1 bathroom. One full bathroom, with shower, toilet, sink. Complete kitchen including oven, microwave oven and full-size refrigerator. Master bedroom with 140 x 200 cm bed. 2nd bedroom has two single beds (90 x 190cm).

For maximum comfort this apartment has central gas heating and air-conditioning.

Location - The apartment is in the historical part of the Eixample area, at short distance and midway from the Sagrada Familia temple and Passeig de Gracia shopping.

Transportation - Near Verdaguer metro station (on yellow and blue lines) and several bus lines. Very easy to get to by taxi.

Management - We are a small family company. Lauren is from Dallas, TX and Fernando is from Barcelona, Spain. We currently run 16 holiday apartments in Barcelona, 2 furnished homes in Dallas and 8 holiday apartments in Istanbul. We apply our same high standards in every country.

Noise levels - The apartment faces the street. All facade windows have double glazing, but there may be some street noise (traffic) in the master bedroom and living room.

Occupancy - The apartment is ideally suited for 4 people.

Check-in and check-out - The apartment will be ready for you at 16:30 for occupancy. You can drop your bags and get your keys from 12:00 (noon). Check-out time is 11:30am. You can request reserved early check-in or late check-out for a small fee, subject to availability. There is no extra fee for nighttime check-in. We have our office in the same building.

well-located flat
the flat is located in a very strategic area for visiting the most beautiful sights on foot. Metro and bus nearby. Quiet area but with a choice of restaurants, food shops, bar and bakery... Negative point: very cramped shower room/wc, difficult to manage for more than 2 people.

Good location
Good location. Is great for the city centre, not as professionally decorated as the pictures make out though and the pillows on the bed were definitely not like the pictures. The check in information given was a bit confusing as I was told that there were due to be some keys, but then on checking I got told that they only have the electronic keypad, so unsure why I got told that. As we were coming for only three nights, I had double checked that there was going to be soap and I had been told yes. However, there wasn't any and so I had to go and buy some the next day. I told them that I was doing that but they then did hang some up on the outside door at the end of the second day, although it was a bit late by then. The apartment is fine, the kitchen was clean and well stocked - it was good enough for us for a couple of nights right in the city centre but not sure I would have classed it as "professionally decorated" - at least not recently. I would recommend though for cleanliness and for the city centre.

Great location with lots of restaurants close by
Nice character building in great location with lots of good restaurants within a short distance. Lovely double balcony too. Quite noisy outside but not a problem for us. Only thing we didn't enjoy was that master bed was not comfy, that should really be addressed for future travellers.

Très bonne localisation mais détails pesants
La localisation de l’appartement est idéale pour découvrir Barcelone et profiter de tous les commerces environnants. Cependant la literie est clairement à revoir, pour la chambre d’adulte nous n’avons pas réussi à dormir du séjour le matelas étant si fin qu’on a dû y mettre des coussins et des couettes afin de ne plus sentir les lattes du lit et ses espaces cela a malheureusement entaché notre appréciation de la location. De plus la salle de douche est vraiment petite . Mis à part ces deux détails nous avons passé un joli séjour et nous repartons avec de jolies souvenirs et un mal de dos.

Balc Apt - ok Beds/street noise - not so much
We (2adults) stayed here for 2 weeks Great location - close to the metro. Light and bright. The full size bed was more of a futon mattress -not comfortable at all -was closest to the street - Valencia - VERY noisey - buses, trucks, scooters, people... we moved into the inner room with twin beds to sleep. Only provided 3 small rolls of toilet paper for 2 adults for 2 weeks. 2 thin towels - no wash cloths - no hand towels : ( Light and bright but could have been so much better! To their credit - when we did have an issue with the iron or the washer - the owners were quick to respond. I would hope that they would consider better bedding and better/more linen.

très bon emplacement et pièces lumineuses. La literie n'était pas aussi belle que sur les photos mais cela n'est pas grave. Le petit balcon est apprécié et tout ce qui était disponible dans l'appartement aussi. Très bien situé. Pas beaucoup de fruiteries avec de beaux fruits ou légumes..un peu déplorable. Mes enfants et nous avons apprécié notre escacade à Barcelone :0

Voyage de famille à Barcelone
Bel appartement bien situé avec toutes les commodités essentielles pour une famille de 4 (2 adultes et 2 adolescents). À proximité du métro et il est aussi très facile de marché pour se rendre aux principales attractions de la ville. Seul petit bémol, le manque de ligne de maison (serviettes) pour les douches, faire la vaisselle et aller à la plage. De plus, cela serait bien d'ajouter une couverture supplémentaire dans chaque chambre. Nous avons bien aimé notre séjour et la communication avec le propriétaire a toujours bien été. Belles vacances de famille en Espagne!

Great location near La Sagrada Familia!
Our family of four (two teens) had plenty of room in this two bedroom apartment. The two balconies were great and we were able to close off the street noise when needed. Had a little trouble with the shower and water, but the property's contact was super responsive and helped us immediately. It's a great location for walking to everything and lots of great restaurants nearby!

Zentrale Lage, aber Wohnung mit Mängeln
Die Lage der Wohnung ist ideal und fußläufig nur 5 Minuten von der Metro entfernt. Mit einer 10 Karte für € 10,20 kommt man preiswert zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten. In Wohnungsnähe gibt es sehr gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Ein Schlafzimmer zum Innenhof, zeitweise laut und Küchengerüche, sehr klein mit Einzeibetten und guten Matratzen. Schlafzimmer: Lage zur Straße, mit Doppelbett 1,4 x 2,0 m mit schlechter Matratze und für 2 Personen zu klein. Wohnung ohne Klimaanlage. Wohnzimmer: Nett eingerichtet, hat alles was man braucht. Küche: Ausrüstung reicht für Frühstück und kleine Mahlzeiten. Der Gasherd ist gewöhnungsbedürftig und die Gaszufuhr lässt sich nur mit kleiner Fummelei abschalten. In Gang setzen mit Streichhölzern. Die waren vorhanden. Küchenhandtücher fehlten. Badezimmer: Größe etwa 1,0 m x 1,5 m. Darin sin untergebracht, Dusche, WC und Waschbecken. Wegen der Größe kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten. Auf dem WC sitzend stößt man bei Körpergröße 1,85 mit den Knien an die Tür. Mobilar abgestoßen und unansehnlich. Ecken in Dusche gerade noch akzeptabel. Es fehlt hier überall Farbe. Teilweise Hölzer aufgequollen. Dachterasse: Sieht auf den Fotos schöner aus als sie ist. Fazit: Für drei Personen ist die Wohnung o.k. mehr aber auch nicht. Ich würde die Wohnung nicht an Freunde weiterempfehlen, wegen des Badezimmers, das diesen Namen nicht verdient. Mit allem anderen kann man leben. Der Kontakt mit Lauren Negre ist sehr gut. Fehlende Handtücher und Toilettenpaoier wurden schnell nachgeliefert.

We loved our stay here! The bathroom was a bit small but it wasn’t really an issue. Everything was clean and Lauren and Fernando were lovely hosts, really responsive. Plus the location of this apartment is perfect- in a central area but quieter than other neighborhoods.

Cozy with perfect location
We are not fancy people and the accommodations were not fancy, but perfect for what we needed for the few days we stayed in Barcelona. Great location, can’t be beat. Close to metro, Sagrada, etc. Hosts were awesome. Eat at Petitbo down the block, best food in Barcelona.

Great location!
You can't ask for a better location. The apartment is nicely furnished in standard IKEA and was clean. The bathroom is very small and tight, but we are not big people. The washer worked great and there was detergent for it as well as dish soap and liquid soap for the bath sink. No liquid or bar soap for the shower. I have learned to pack small bars of soap. There was some olive oil and balsamic vinegar in the kitchen, but no salt or pepper (glad I brought some). The sheets and towels were fine, but the only blanket on the queen bed was a twin size one which barely covered the width of the bed. We took a couple off the twin beds to cover the bed. All in all, a good stay.

We loved the apartment and the location in L'Eixample in close proximity to a great market, places to eat, metro, Sagrada Familia and Passeig de Gracia within walking distance, wonderful views. There was nothing missing for a home away from home. Thank you for providing this accomodation.

This is a nice apartment in a great area that is not too hectic. Nice building with rooftop terrace. Kitchen is small but having a washer in the unit was convenient.

Great apartment, great position
Perfect apartment for our needs, yes the bathroom is a little small, but you can't have everything. Kitchen had all we needed, rooftop terrace was a nice addition. 10mins from Metro, 1min from decent bars and restaurants.

Great Place, Great Location
Super little comfortable apartment. Elevator, great A/C, super location. A very short walk to Sagrada Familia and steps from tons of restaurants, small and large groceries and bakeries. A little extra treat- look out the windows to the large owl on top of a local building. At night the eyes are lit up and "blink" and "wink" at you.

Great location, great apartment.
There were 4 of us; me, husband, daughter, daughter’s friend. It had 2 bedrooms and a shared bathroom, which worked out great. We enjoyed using the Metro system (T10 card was inexpensive and easy to use) and found a couple stops close to the apartment that we used to get everywhere. Although, it was close enough to everything that walking was a real option. Great restaurants close by. Never saw the Negre’s or any staff, but never really needed them. The washer/dryer combo unit was great to have, for which there was laminated sheet with minimal instructions, but not the same as US so look some internet searching to figure it out.

Amazing apartment in Barcelona
This apartment is a gem. The amazing tile floors and balconies make it cozy and comfortable. It had A/C, a great kitchen and Wifi. In a great neighborhood on a nice street.
