What a surprise! This was my last stop after 1st part of Camino Santiago trip. This was exactly a place I felt pampered by staff & facility. It is a boutique hotel in Monjuic residential neighborhood. People were just friendly and very interested in helping you. They had a great map of Barcelona, recommendation for restaurants (apparently staffs have tried them all before they put it on the list, local hiking map in Monjuic hill and La Ramblar street. Location is very convenient with many restaurants within a mile. Just a fun and relaxing place. They have breakfast buffet, but you can order a la cart. I travelled a lot for business. I have never seen a hotel like this. Highly recommended.

We really like smaller more personable boutique hotels. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Go with their restaurant recommendations. We like to hike and walk. There is a wonderful park across the street with botanical gardens, Olympic stadium, Magic Fountain, Miro gallery, National Art Museum, Grocery store very close by. Taxi's were reasonable about $10-15 to La Rambla and Sagrada Familia. Book tickets early from home, they sell out.

Hotel Brummell was stylish, comfortable and friendly. The rooms were thoughtfully designed and I love that you could open the balcony doors and hear the birdsong from the park nearby. Breakfast was incredible!

Great hotel, very clean, nice staff. Cool pool / lounge area in the back as well. Spacious room and nice to have a balcony! Area is a little more quiet but still easily walkable to everything, including the street of pinxtos! Would 100% stay here again.

Wonderful stay! Staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Area was close to the busy tourist attractions but a nicely out of the way for a relaxing start/end to the busy days. Location is interesting, giving options for nature and city connection. Areas around the hotel are off the beaten path, with a few interesting experiences from time to time. Wish we were booked for a longer stay here as the property, rooms and service were all excellent. We liked that the hotel offers an "honesty" bar where you can mix yourself a drink or take a snack whenever you please (you just have to leave your list of items and room number). And the charming daily news bulletin in the hotel's elevator and lobby gives you great info about local dining/drinking/shopping.

The staff were warm and welcoming, the room had thoughtful extras - water, an umbrella, a yoga mat, a fridge, even a postcard. The neighbourhood is safe and close to a wide variety of restaurants, including one right in the hotel. The terrace and pool were lovely. I particularly liked the lobby honour bar, coffee and tea in the room, and a vending machine with snacks right outside the room.
