Fantastic and Bright Apartment in the Heart of Gothic area 10 min from the beach

Great 70 m² apartment with lots of natural light that consists of 4 exterior balconies, living-dining room with 1 comfortable double sofa bed, two double bedrooms (one of them en suite), kitchen and 2 complete bathrooms with shower. Apartment is in an old building typical of the Gothic quarter. Both have been recently renovated. The modern and beautiful decoration of the apartment combines perfectly with the old style of the building. The building is accessed from Ripoll Street but the apartment and the main façade face the Plaza dels Peixos (Fish Square). The apartment is completely exterior with four balconies that face the street, it is a 3nd floor with lots of natural light. In its rehabilitation, all the original architectural elements were respected. Public parking very close to the apartment (Avinguda de la Catedral). The building where the apartment is located is right next to the Gothic cathedral of Barcelona, just 500 meters from the port and its adjacent beaches. Due to its unique location, it is not necessary to use any type of transport, being a 5-minute walk from Las Ramblas and Plaça Catalunya. Most of the museums and most important attractions are accessible on foot, however the main Bus and Metro lines are located right next to the apartment. It does not have an elevator like most of the old buildings in the Gothic quarter.




The city of Barcelona has a tourist tax of 5€ per person/ day to be paid in cash on arrival at the apartment.

Had a fantastic stay for 5 nights, right in the middle of so much. Apartment was clean and just perfect for the 3 of us. For those who might have an issue, there are many stairs up and down. Would recommend wholeheartedly for a trip to Barcelona!

Great location in Barcelona near the action, but off the main roads. Looks just like the pictures! Wasn't an issue for us, but note that there is no elevator and it is on the 4th floor. It was clean and had everything we needed. Check in was a 5-10min cab away and took only 5 mins. Communication from the rental company was great.

Stayed two nights prior to cruise. Apartment clean and roomy. The steps were steep and narrow up to 3rd floor, but worth it for the open air balconies. Short walking distance to shops, restaurants, attractions and metro. Pillows and linens could be improved for comfort. Would stay again!

Wonderful little apartment in the heart of Barcelona. Apartment was spacious and clean. We loved that it was with in a 15-20min walk of almost everything. Neighborhood is awesome, great coffee shop, pizza, ramen and tapas bars all with in a 5 minute walk. Super close and convenient to metro and bus stops. Also 2 min walk to the Cathedral de Barcelona!

We could not have found a better location for Easter in Barcelona! The parades and festivities were all around the corner. Easy walks to all the major attractions, Corte Ingles and plenty of Markets. Some of the best restaurants are nearby. Great little balconies to people watch and a rooftop to enjoy dinner with your friends. We hope to go back and rent it again!

Everything is great. It's spacious with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, even two washer machines. Heater works well. It has everything we need and in a great location, plus it's quiet! Not easy to find a quiet place in Spain. The only downside might be it's on the 3rd floor with narrow stairs, no elevators, but it's fine for us. Will recommend this apartment.

Central location in gothic quarter close to sights and ten minute walk to metro. Clean, simple apartment, but mattresses were old and saggy. Washing machine was convenient, but no dryer. On third floor with narrow stairway so nice exercise!

Loved it. Everything is there to make us feel at home. Perfect place for 4 adults - loved the 2 separate washrooms. Was traveling with 2 seniors (+70) and I was happy they are in shape as the third floor was a little bit of a workout (think suitcases) but we all would love to come back. Close to the Hop-On / Hop-Off and Metro stations. You will not regret it but expect a small workout before enjoying comfortable beds and nice couch!

Excellent location! Lovely apartment. Only a washing machine, no dryer, a drying rack was provided. We would stay there again as it was in a beautiful area, lots of restaurants, shopping and metro. However, not good for anyone who has mobility issues as there’s no elevator. The apartment is on the 5th floor up 60 stairs.
