Joaquin was great when checking in. They also accommodated an early checkin. The things I didn't like was the bed was very hard and didn't get a good nights rest and the walls were thin and I could here people on both sides of me

Axel is really well located close to Paseo de Gracia in the heart of the Eixample. As such it’s walking distance to great cafes, bars, restaurants and shops and close to many of the best tourist sites in Barcelona.

Loved our time here. The property is a little dated. Could do with a renovation to bring it into the current times. Cannot fault the staff or location of the hotel, both were fantastic.
