"Lovely traditional property with modern amenities with a good size pool. Very peaceful rural location. Excellent communication from the owners of the property and Mr and Mrs Keys, the property managers, were extremely helpful and accommodating. You will need a car to access supermarkets/sight seeing etc. but there are lots of beautiful areas to see. Cognac is beautiful and reasonably close. "We stayed here in August 2017 and had a super week. The weather was amazing and we were in the lovely pool every day without fail. The house itself is a real home from home. Comfortable beds, quality bed linen and towels and an excellently equipped kitchen with an easy-to-use gas range cooker. The American style fridge freezer with ice maker was a big hit! The house is very spacious - the layout of the bedrooms really works - as a family of 4 with 2 young children we had the ground floor...

"The cottage was a lovely place to stay. The property was very quiet and presented exactly as the listing described. We had everything we required and everything was clean and tidy. "The gite was wonderful, everthing possible was there for the guests use….torch, matches, cleaning products, extra toilet rolls etc. We were welcomed with the most amazing pack of food products including beer & wine. The bed is super comfortable with additional blankets if needed, the large shower is great as well. The area/local towns were a little too quiet for us but we made the most of it….and it is out of season. "
