"Hosts are wonderful. Could not do enough for us. Unfortunately we had difficulty finding the place as the address on the Vrbo web site took us to the wrong end of the long road. Communication was challenging and fortunately the host found us. Really quiet location. Only a short walk to sword beach. Comfortable accommodation. Close to supermarkets and Caen. Unfortunately we forgot to bring our Euro plug converter so if you are from uk make sure you take it. Plenty of plug outlets accommodation....

"A lovely loft apartment steps from a 12/13th century church, 2 bakeries and a little cafe/bar. Minutes to several small restaurants and a short drive to the beach. Apartment was spacious and clean with nice furniture. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had most of what we needed. The down sides: no towels provided, which is tough if you’re travelling light. Also, no on-site laundry. The kitchen was also low on supplies such as garbage bags & paper towel. We really enjoyed our stay!"

It is often colder than the outside temperature. * Major grouping of bus stops right in front of the building make traveling to museums and train station very convenient. I went on 3 side trips and had relatively easy time of it. * from the airport, you want the bus to Caen Theatre. Uber can be very slow to respond * convenient grocery store; Monoprix across street *...
