"Our room overlooked the beautiful cathedral in Burgos; it was fabulous! The room was very clean, well-appointed and the wi-fi was great. There was a good variety at breakfast; we enjoyed our stay very much! The staff was knowledgeable and very helpful with and questions were might have had."

"Great place to stay. We had a warm welcome and the restaurant food was excellent. Room very comfortable - large beds and all spotlessly clean. Ensuite bathroom and shower superb. Only thing missing was coffee/tea facilities but the Cafeteria is open all the time for that. We have stayed at lots of hotels on our journeys back and to England through Spain and France and this is the best yet by far. GS "

"During the afternoon, when I come back from the city I saw a two grups of poeple making check in. I went to my room and I close with security. While I was there there were some people trying to open my room, I go and open the door and said there is some one I think you were wrong with your room number, but they have the same room number as me, but they key doesn't work. "We love Lerma and was excited about staying in the Parador. However we were not aware of the gardens being closed and work being carried out prior to arrival. Check in staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good."

"We stayed 2 nights in Covarrubias. We originally planned to use the town as a base to explore the surrounds, but were enchanted by the charm of the town and didn’t leave during our stay. Cafes open around 10am and it’s easy to while away a day slowly exploring the streets, stopping for a coffee, wine or beer at regular intervals and having a lay siesta."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hostel, largely thanks to the incredibly caring and helpful owner (Lorena). She was always attentive, going out of her way to ensure every guest felt comfortable and taken care of. It was clear that she genuinely cared about everyone's well-being and comfort, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a welcoming and hospitable place to stay after a long day in el camino."
