Nestled in the woods in the heart of Mount Desert Island, Acadia Woods Cottages are fully equipped 2 bedroom homes that are the perfect launching place from which to explore Acadia National Park and the surrounding areas.

Kimball Cottage has two cozy bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, heat/AC, W/D, smart TV/high-speed internet, grill, screened porch, community fire ring, outdoor games, picnic pavilion and more!

Acadia Woods Cottages are just 7 minutes from the main entrance to Acadia NP and a short drive to nearly everything else on the Island. Or, leave your car at home and jump on the free island explorer bus! The bus stop is directly across the street and it can take you nearly anywhere on the island.

Other amenities that are easily accessible within a 5 minute walk include:

• Town Hill Market for coffee, baked goods, basic sundries and ice cream stand!

Cottage Rules

These Cottage Rules are in place to ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay for all our guests. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines.

Check-in and Check-out times are 4:00 PM and 10:00 AM. This rule facilitates a punctual and enjoyable arrival and departure experience.

Parking. Each guest must park only in the designated private parking space assigned to their cottage. This rule ensures convenience and security for all guests.

Smoking or Vaping is strictly prohibited inside the cottage, as well as outdoors in all common areas. This rule helps maintain good air quality and prevents fire hazards.

Quiet Hours are to be observed from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. This rule ensures a peaceful environment during the night and early morning hours for all guests.

Parties or Events are strictly prohibited in the rental cottage. This rule maintains the serenity, safety, and security of all guests and prevents potential damage to cottages.

Pets. As much as we love animals, they are not allowed in the cottages or anywhere on the premises. This rule ensures a clean and safe environment for all guests.

Open Flames, such as candles, are strictly prohibited within the cottage. This rule is to prevent potential fire hazards and ensure the safety of guests and the property.

In the cottage Bathroom, please use the dark towels provided for make-up removal, and please do not flush anything except toilet paper. Hygiene products, wet wipes, dental floss and diapers should be placed in the garbage. This rule will help prevent plumbing clogs and costly repairs.

Garbage Removal. Guests are responsible for properly disposing of their garbage. Please use the designated bins provided and follow the recycling guidelines. This rule upholds the property's standards of cleanliness and sustainability.

Please do not feed Wildlife – deer, squirrels, foxes, wild turkeys, seagulls. This rule prevents any harm to both the animals and humans involved.

Note: Violation of these rules will result in the forfeit of any Security Deposit and may result in immediate eviction without refund.
