Gorgeous Bar Harbor Property

(Please note, during the summer weeks, we prefer a weekly rental with a 7 night minimum stay.)

New to the rental market, this lovely duplex condo is located in a beautiful Bar Harbor neighborhood. In just a few minutes’ walk to town, you can enjoy all the shops, restaurants, and attractions that Bar Harbor offers. You can also bring your bikes and leave your car parked. Nut Hatch is a very short bike ride to Duck Brook Road which provides access to the 45 miles of carriage roads and numerous hiking trails in beautiful Acadia National Park. If you’d rather sit back and take a scenic ride, there's the Island Explorer bus service, which provides free rides around the island. If you want to explore on your own, access to the Park's 26-mile loop road is just a short drive away. If golf is your thing, the public Kebo Valley Golf Club is right around the corner.

The home is beautifully decorated and fully equipped with anything your family might need during your stay. Upstairs has three bedrooms. There is a king bed in the master bedroom with a TV and en suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms have queen beds and share a full bath. All bedrooms have their own air conditioning units for those rare hot Bar Harbor days. The first floor also has air conditioning and a lovely living room with a sleeper sofa, comfortable chairs, and a Smart TV with Spectrum high speed internet and TV services (WiFi is available throughout the house). The updated kitchen has granite countertops, a dining table for six, as well as an eat-in island for two. There is a half bath with a laundry area containing a washer and dryer. The outside back deck is perfect for grilling or enjoying a good book. There is even bike storage in the walk-up basement. The unit has its own assigned parking spot and there is overflow parking in the back. The Nut Hatch is a great place to relax and unwind after a long day of hiking and exploring!

Great Location beautiful condo
This condo was great for us. The location was centrally located to Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor. We ate at several wonderful restaurants including the Chart Room and Gayln’s. Hiked a few trails at Acadia and took a nature boat cruise of Frenchman’s Bay. The condo was well equipped and beds were comfortable.

Fantastic family property
We wanted a family spot for our daughter's 30th; we are avid hikers and enjoy cooking together and games. We were able to easily do all this here. The property manager was awesome and attentive. Beds were fabulous, well appointed kitchen and handy to the park and downtown. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Bobby’s condo! The location is perfect Acadia and Bar Harbor, just a short couple of miles! The condo is clean and comfortable. It has everything (and more) that you’ll need! There are games stored in the family room table that my kids enjoyed while the adults propped up our feet from long hikes at Acadia. Would stay there again!

Vacation in Bar Harbor
The house was absolutely perfect for our stay in Bar Harbor and visit to Acadia National Park. It was super convenient to get into the town as well as to the park. Due to an initial cancelled flight, we arrived at the house very late in the evening. Our host was beyond helpful in getting everything needed for such a late arrival. I would definitely recommend a stay there.

Perfect Location for Acadia Visit
We enjoyed our stay at the Nut Hatch very much. The location is perfect for hiking in Acadia, as well as visits downtown. It only takes 15 minutes to get to the top of Cadillac Mountain from the condo, which worked out perfectly the morning we watched the sunrise. We were also pleasantly surprised to discover the Duck Brook entrance to the carriage roads was within walking distance. In addition to the great location, the property had everything we needed and was spacious and comfortable for a group of four adults and two dogs. Bobby was quick to respond to questions and proactive in reaching out prior to our visit. We would be happy to make a return trip to Bar Harbor and stay at the Nut Hatch again.

Great Acadia and Bar Harbor Stay
Location is fantastic being walking distance to downtown although there are no sidewalks so get there and back is a little dicey. Only 10-15 min away from main attractions in Acadia. House is layed out very well with plenty of space for my family of 4 and dog. House is part of a condo complex tucked away from the main roads. Bobby was responsible s and helpful. We will be back !

Feels Like Home
This house is walking distance to downtown but the road isn’t ideal for walking. We did it a few times but chose to Uber most of the time because it wasn’t expensive given the short distance to town. Those that are comfortable with driving or using Uber won’t have any issue with this properties location. The house is SUPER close to Acadia park entrance, which is really nice. The house was very comfortable. It felt cozy like you were staying in your own home. Very spacious and fully equipped with everything you need - washer/dryer, spices, cookware, etc. We had our mini bernedoodle with us and the grass areas around the property were perfect for a little play and bathroom breaks. The host was quick to respond and accommodating with adjusting check in/out times. If we come back to Bar Harbor, this is where we’ll be staying.

Perfect home base for exploring Acadia!
Clean and comfortable, perfect amount of space for our family of 4 (2 teenage boys) to explore Acadia and enjoy Bar Harbor. Entrance to the carriage roads by bike literally around the corner without having to go on major roads - perfect for cyclists! Bit of a walk to town but we wanted to be closer to the park. Beds comfortable, bathrooms clean, kitchen well equipped. We will be back!
