Bar Harbor Cabin Minutes to Downtown and Acadia National Park!

Minutes away from Acadia National Park and down town Bar Harbor, cottage is well equipped with everything you need for your home away from home. Newly added central AC and heat allow for an extra comfort. This home features 2 bedrooms, one with a King size bed and newly added en-suite with full bath and laundry. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The private loft has 2 additional full size beds allowing you to comfortably sleep 6-8 guest, sleeping 6 adults comfortably. Newly installed front load washer and dryer and 500/500 WiFi allowing you to comfortably work from “home”. The property allows for plenty of parking and privacy with 1 1/2 acres of elbow room. We also have the yard sprayed monthly for ticks, and have bat boxes on the property to help naturally control the mosquitoes.

Great Stay near Bar Harbor
The cabin is located in a great spot about 7 minutes to downtown bar harbor and 10 minutes to Acadia park. The place is nicely secluded and private in a quiet area. We had a great time as a family group of 6 visiting the town and the park. Note: prior to staying but after booking, we were a bit hesitant due to a previous negative review by a Hillery with an E left about the place not being adequate. However, this is an entirely inaccurate review of lies. While the cabin is rustic and woodsy, it is entirely what you see and read in the photos and description.

Cute Cabin
I traveled with my husband and three daughters and our path led us to this cabin. It was the perfect spot for us to visit Bar Harbor and Acadia. The cabin had everything we needed and was very comfortable for our one night stay. Despite not having air conditioning, by opening the windows and keeping the fans on, we were all very comfortable. The communication with the owner was wonderful.

This property checked all the boxes. Great location, close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park but away from the crowds. House was comfortable and clean. Our family had a fantastic time and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Has everything you need!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We traveled with two young kids and two active dogs and everyone had lots of fun just spending time at home. The location CAN'T BE BEAT! It is so close to the shops/restaurants in Bar Harbour (10 min drive) but far enough away to feel like you're isolated in the woods. Definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

Nice location to visit all that Acadia National Park had to offer. Easy drive to Bar Harbor. Check-in was easy. Home provided all the amenities we needed. We would stay here again! Master bath/laundry was seemed to be a new addition to the home and a welcome one.

My Husband’s Dream
My husband, a veteran of the hotel business always wanted a log cabin get away in the woods! We had a great time especially enjoyed easy access to everything ! The front porch was delightful. The house was super clean and well appointed.

A quiet woodland retreat in a fabulous location
We spent five nights in this wonderful cabin with our three teenagers. It’s in a perfect location, a short drive to Bar Harbor and an easy drive to both Sand Beach/Otter Cove and Bass Harbor sections of Acadia National Park. It’s a short walk to Salsbury Cove from the cabin, which is a lovely little cove offering charming views. The cabin is private and quiet, surrounded by pine trees. We enjoyed s’mores and hot dogs around the fire pit, and sitting outside on the deck enjoying nature. There’s a great miniature golf course (Pirate’s Cove) a two minute drive from the cabin, and an ice cream shop right across the street from golfing. Perfect for some fun family bonding time after a day exploring the park. The cabin was the perfect size for our family of five…big enough for each of the kids to carve out a space for themselves. We would definitely recommend this spot to families who want a prime “base camp” for exploring Bar Harbor and Acadia.

Just what we needed
It was our first visit to Maine. We had a relaxing visit at this sweet, quaint rustic but updated Log Cabin. The short 10 minute drive to Bar Harbor was perfect and we were able to see everything we wanted to see for this trip. We'll definitely be back!
