"We had a luck to book a house from Kathleen at Irsina.Beautiful house recently modernized and unique location.Very quiet place , friendly people around.Can recomend to anyone looking for peaceful holidays in luxury house placed in ancient town."

Posizione comoda, parcheggio davanti la porta, zona ben servita e a 5 minuti a piedi sei nel centro del bellissimo e storico paese . Da questo paese, al centro della Basilicata,puoi partire per visitarla facilmente . Troppo poco un giorno, non vedo l ora di tornare"

"Acerenza is een meer dan 2000 jaar oud stadje gelegen op een bergtop van meer dan 800 m hoog met in het centrum een Romaanse kathedraal. Het huis ligt in één van de smalle stegen dichtbij een parkeerplaats van dit stadje. Het pand is oeroud, maar totaal gerenoveerd. "Maybe it’s lost in translation, maybe our room wasn’t correctly prepared. Expedia has among its amenities bathrobe and slippers, but there were none in the room. Their website specifies “ The library and magazines in your room where you can read about the history of wine, events, cellar tours, tastings and the grape harvest in our vineyard.” There was none of that in the room and was not given information either when checking in. "Did not even come close to our expectations. We checked in just to have somewhere to catch our breath and look for alternative accommodation. Left without talking to the host as we didn't want to waste any more time there. It was a converted garage and the so called courtyard was non excistent as your car needed to be parked in what was in fact the driweway."
