"The neighborhood was clean, upscale, and beautifully kept. It came with Candlewood Beach access. The second story suite was gorgeous, clean, and well apportioned. The bed was comfortable. The whole house was well maintained and a wonderful,"homey" feel to it. The Hostess was friendly, cheerful, and very accommodating. The house is on the hillside leading to Lake Candlewood. As can be imagined, the views from the windows were outstanding."

"The house faces the lake and offers tranquil and beautiful views from most rooms. It was meticulously maintained and very attractive and comfortable. It was stocked with everything you would need to be comfortable and to feel like home. We stayed 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it!"

"Eric’s place was cozy and clean with all amenities we needed. Bedrooms were cozy and roomy with comfortable mattresses. The full kitchen and Smart Tv rounded out a comfy, relaxed evening to drink wine and eat snacks from the nearby Stop and Shop. "We had a wonderful stay here. The house is very spacious and was perfect for kids with enough spaces for everyone to sleep and run around. Jennifer was super responsive (within minutes) and friendly and we experienced no problems with the house. My only regret is not being able to spend as much time as we wanted at the house to utilize their amazing backyard (we we had a family wedding which took us away from the property each day). Highly recommend this place - especially to families with kids!"

"If ever in the area again, we will definitely stay at Bluebird Farmhouse. It is so charming with wonderful artwork throughout this warm and comfortable home. A beautiful setting with a very well equipped home providing everything you need. We were in town for a wedding and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this special farmhouse!!"

"This is an older home with charm. Lots of room, and while just six of us stayed, it appears more could be accommodated with inflatable mattresses. We enjoyed sitting outside by the simple fire pit one night. I would encourage the owners to put an outside light in the back as I stumbled on the stairs twice but that’s really the only issue. We are so sorry we misplaced one of the two keys,please send us a bill for a copy if you don’t find it. Thank you!"

"Our family had a great stay at this home on Candlewood Isle. The owners were very friendly and left out snacks and such that my toddler loved. The house is clean and well kept and has a charming yard and deck. Really enjoyed being able to bring our dog with us too. Highly recommend!"
