Nice and modern kitchen and bathroom, comfortable queen bed and sofa, plush towels, and has most of what you need for your stay. If we return to the area, we're going to stay here again!"

"Cozy mountain cabin for our two families that was clean, comfortable and met all our expectations. Our kids enjoyed the game room and hot tub. Close to skiing and tubing activities. The higher elevation let us experience decent snowfall which we were really looking forward to this year! Def need 4WD/AWD to make it up the mountain road leading to the cabin. "

"This home is in immaculate condition. Everything in it is a high-quality and it is well portioned with a wonderful kitchen. It has essentially three master bedrooms on the ground floor and one additional bedroom upstairs with a loft. Two sets of washer and dryer. And TVs in every room. Communication with the owners was stellar, they were very courteous and welcoming and prompting communications. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended."

"Just popped in to check on our college student. We weren’t at the property long but its access to campus was fantastic. Property was clean and worked for our short stay. Plenty of pans to make dinner and washer and dryer worked great to get my college students clothes ready to go. "

"Been hosting trips to the area for over a decade fly fishing on the Watuaga and SoHo. Our scheduled trip was in jeopardy due to the destruction from Helene and our normal lodging was heavily damaged by the flooding and closed for repair. It is a large group(10) men that enjoy the outdoors, fishing, cooking together, and a good time. This was the only place that we felt would accommodate all of us. And it did!!! "We were greeted with a dozen red roses and a cute card for us sitting on the end table in the living room for our anniversary when we walked in that really made us smile. We loved all the rooms except we felt the bed could use replacing. It was not very firm and if you barely move to turn over or literally made any movement at all, the bed squeaked real bad. We used the 2 frying pans and found that the food stuck on them very badly, so I would suggest replacing those as well. Overall though,...

"Beautifully remodeled house overlooking a gorgeous scenic bend in the Watauga River--feels remote but is only five minutes from the Bristol Highway in north JC. A rustic modern feel inside, a great bed, and outside, beautiful deck with hot tub providing gorgeous river views. Bryan is attentive but not intrusive and responds to questions instantly."
