Welcome to the 'Skiway Getaway' cabin! Nestled in a peaceful neighborhood circle, just a stone's throw from the slopes and mountains, this cabin is the ideal retreat. Enjoy the convenience of being near the resort while relishing the serene, traffic-free atmosphere. Our spacious cabin comfortably accommodates large groups, featuring two king beds, one queen bed, and two twin bunk beds, along with two full baths for your convenience.

What truly distinguishes 'Skiway Getaway' is its unbeatable location. Not only are you close to the slopes, but you also have access to a wide array of activities that Beech Mountain offers. In addition to skiing, this area is rapidly gaining recognition as a premier mountain biking destination. Explore nearby climbing and hiking areas along the Blue Ridge Parkway. For adventure seekers, there are opportunities for paddling in the Watauga River, as well as exciting events and concerts at Beech Mountain. Don’t forget to soak in the breathtaking views from the mountaintop bar at 5506'!

We also understand the importance of including your furry friends on your getaway. 'Skiway Getaway' is pet-friendly and can accommodate up to two pets at no extra charge.

***Please remember to bring your own firewood if you plan to use the fireplace. In the event of inclement weather, an all-wheel drive (AWD) or 4x4 vehicle is required, so please plan accordingly. While snow chains may be necessary, we strongly recommend an AWD vehicle for snowy conditions.

***You can check in anytime after 4 PM, but please note that we are available to assist with any issues only until 9 PM. We anticipate a smooth check-in process with all necessary information provided to you beforehand, minimizing any potential issues. We recommend arriving before 9 PM for a hassle-free check-in experience. Thank you for your understanding.

Needs some fixing up
I think if you change carpet as it was wet and mildew had to walk with shoes on also need new sofas and brighter lights the drains in bathroom sinks were very slow to drain. Also more seating would be nice outside. The benches at kitchen table were loose and need to be more sturdy. The deck had slimy green stuffy on it and it was very slippery. Sheets had tears in them and the queen mattress was saggy in the middle. Also cushions outside were full of green slime on edges
