PARKING- Winter Parking can be tight due to man made snow making and accumulation in the winter. Sometimes even 2 cars can be tight. A 3rd car more than likely would need to go in public parking at the bottom of the hill. Snow shoveling and plowing is available upon request and can take time before they arrive. Plan on having a 4x4 with good tires in the winter. Pickup Trucks with long beds can work but is not preferable due to tight space turning around. Sometimes you may have to back down the street in order to park.

Our family enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect. My kids could ski in and out for lunch and breaks. The house was exactly as described.

Beautiful chalet with excellent views and very well furnished.
Being a top of Pinnacle Ridge Rd makes it easy to access the mountain bike trails in the summer and by being between Upper and Lower Shawneehaw the perfect ski in and ski out destination.

If you are looking for the PERFECT place to stay in Beech Mountain, look no further! This property has everything you can imagine and more! Location could not be any better along with all accommodations. We stayed for 7 days and did not want to leave. We had 4 adults and 3 kids and had plenty of room. Owner is awesome and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and knew what there was in the area to sight see! We were already planning our next stay at this property before we even checked out! 10/10!
This is our second time staying in this amazing house! The location is the best. Perfect ski-in/ski-out location! The lay out of the house is great and the kitchen is well stocked. The towels that are provided are so plush and they even provide shampoo, soap and lotion! The beds are very comfortable. These are all things that typically bother me when on vacation due to the poor quality. The owner is extremely responsive and helpful! We will continue to choose this house anytime we come to Beech and I recommend this house to everyone who asks!
We have been staying at Beech Mt from time to time with our kids just being 5 & 7 years old learning to snowboard to them as young adults doing quite well. Our family has doubled and this place was perfect for 3 couples. Very comfortable and by far it’s the best location on the mountain being able to access it by 3 lifts (green or blue slopes), has the most beautiful view of the slopes, mountains, town lit up, moon & sunrise, plus a chair lift going by. Richard is an awesome host thinking ahead for his guest in any situation. You definitely need 4WD because the parking gets covered by the “man made” snow that happens all the time as Beech does a great job in making snow. Definitely worth that effort to stay here and hopefully will be back for many more stays. We all had so much fun making great memories. Many thanks!
GREAT chalet that has an unbelievable view. Able to see for miles and also can see the snow boarders directly off the back deck. Rick was a great host as well. Always asking how things were going. Easy check in and check out. Completely remodeled unit that seems like a new place. Very comfortable beds. Very cozy living room with top of the line furniture. Nice gas logs that warms the entire unit. Driveway is not the easiest to get in and out. Listen to RIc when he says 4x4 vehicle or chains because when they blow snow, it will cover the access road and your vehicle. Only 2 parking spaces means only 2 parking spaces. Steps are very steep steps going down to the chalet and the entry door. Overall- HIGHLY RECOMMEND. 5 STAR UNIT. COULD BE THE BEST ON THE MOUNTAIN- we will return!! Thank you Ric for allowing us to stay!!
This house is a prime location on Beech Mountain. I have been going to Beech for several years and always wanted to stay at this house and I am glad I did. Its so easy to just walk out the door to throw your skis on and get going. We also could ski right up to the back door when we wanted to stop in and take a break. We got to make the first tracks down the mountain before the lifts started running a few times which was pretty cool. The house is also super close to places like Fred's and restaurants which is very convenient. The home also has grated stairs and deck so the snow falls through instead of piling up and icing over. There are several homes in the area that have what I refer to as "Death Stairs" because the ice builds up making an ice luge and is extremely hard to bring luggage and supplies to and from the house. This house does not have that issue. Rick was excellent the whole stay and was super responsive and attentive the entire stay. He did a great job with communicating which is extremely important. Overall I would highly recommend staying at this house!
