Great location within short walking distance to downtown Banner Elk. Well decorated 2 bedroom cabin perfect for our family of 3. Check in and out process was easy. Would highly recommend this for anyone staying in the Banner Elk area!
We had a wonderful Spring Break stay at The Blue Elk. This cozy rental is very nicely remodeled and had everything we needed and more. The beds were comfortable and the views are great. Great location near downtown Banner Elk. Will be back!
We had a great stay! It was the perfect size for our family of three. We had everything we needed, was cozy, quiet, nice view and a quick walk into town.
The property couldn’t have been better. The views are amazing and it’s a quick walk into town. We enjoyed staying in just as much as going out because we had everything we needed. Can’t wait to return!
A well appointed 2 bedroom penthouse with easy access to downtown Banner Elk. Everything you need for a relaxing stay. Outstanding views from walls of windows! Perfect even in the rain.
We had a nice stay at the Blue Elk! It is very convenient to downtown Banner Elk. It is nicely furnished and comfortable. The views of the morning sunrise and afternoon sunsets are gorgeous ! We will stay here again!
Clean, bright quaint condo with great views and convenient location. Had a nice week with two teens to explore the mountains and despite the rain had a great time.
Great location! So nice having a kitchen to make meals. My daughter loved the swing. Really comfortable beds. Nice, responsive owners. We enjoyed our stay.
Perfect place! Everything was clean and comfortable.
Loved our stay. Loved how the owner communicated.
Loved that there was not a bunch of unnecessary things there. Loved the clean feeling.
Would definitely come back if we return to the area.
Very well maintained, perfectly clean, 2 bedroom spot in a great location in Banner Elk. Might get a little tight if you spend more than a few days there, but perfect for 2 couples or a small family for a long weekend. Loved all the windows and the lovely view. Beds were comfortable. Nice modern design. Good spot for a reasonable price.
This condo is beautiful, clean and has so much natural light with floor to ceiling windows!!! The view of the mountains is beautiful!!! We enjoyed our stay so much and would love to come back!!! The owners are very nice and took the time to contact us and make sure everything was good. Highly recommend this condo!!! It is walkable to the town, park and the view is gorgeous!!!
Quaint little place over looking downtown banner elk. Perfect for my family of 3 with two bedrooms. My daughter loved the swing chair. I appreciated the communications from the owner and would stay again given the opportunity.
"My fiance and I recently stayed here for 4 nights. The view from the property was simply breathtaking and was the highlight of our stay. We spent many mornings and evenings just enjoying the view and taking in the natural beauty of the surrounding area.
The property manager was also very responsive and helpful, quickly responding to any questions we had and ensuring that we had a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-stocked and we were able to cook several dinners there, which was a nice change from eating out every night.
Overall, the property was clean and well-maintained, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. We appreciated the attention to detail and felt that the property had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.
Beyond the property itself, we had an amazing time exploring the surrounding area. We drove to the top of Mt. Mitchell and did a hike on top of it, which offered stunning views of the surrounding mountains. We also did an amazing and challenging hike on Grandfather Mountain and hiked Linville Gorge, which offered some of the most beautiful scenery we have ever seen. Finally, driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway was an unforgettable experience and we would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area.
In conclusion, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating vacation in a beautiful location. Thank you to the owner and property manager for making our stay so enjoyable!"
My husband and I stayed in this wonderful cabin and literally left the day that hurricane Helene came in, I pray for everyone in this wonderful town. When you rebuild, we will return, praying for you all
Cute house in private setting with a great view downtown Banner Elk as well as Sugar and Grandfather Mountains. Well appointed, super comfortable upper floor of an octagonal house on the side of a mountain. Loved our two night stay there!
We were super happy with our stay. Spent a week with my wife, brother, and sister in law. The place had everything we needed. We spent most our time exploring but it was nice to come back and chill out with the cool evenings and mornings looking out the windows over the trees. Each morning we had deer or wild turkeys walking through the yard. The hosts communicated well and were responsive.
Such a cute place and very comfortable: the views were amazing and very easy to get downtown and to campus..just down the hill! Will stay here again. The hosts are very kind and responsive. A+ highly recommend!
