A disappointing start, as room wasn't ready at 2pm check-in, although it was by 2.15pm. We were also advised of a fault with the lift, which was waiting repair, this was carried out around 9ish our first evening. The room was clean, although the ensuite was rudimentary and clearly adapted for wheelchair access (we didn't ask for this facility). A locked connecting door with another room meant we could clearly hear the conversations of other guests. The electric shower was temperamental and didn't retain it's heat or flow. We did report this on the first morning, and it was checked, however, the problem continued throughout our stay. The wall mounted TV was too high and there was no seating (apart from the bed) in the room. A single chair was brought to our room. Continental breakfast was good - fresh fruit and qood quality yoghurts.
