"We were visiting town for a family emergency and booked on a night-by-night basis (as the crisis emerged) for 10 nights. The staff was very accommodating with our last-minute reservations, greeted us warmly each night, and showed personal concern for us and for our family member. They even saved us a fresh cookie when they knew we'd be arriving late! The bartenders (because we really needed a drink when we rolled in just before closing each night) were welcoming and kind. At breakfast the staff would ask for an update on our family member, offered prayers, and even wrote "get well soon" on a carry out container for her. I can't say enough about this place! "

"Stayed here during off-season for a work trip. Gorgeous view of the harbor. Rooms and bathrooms are small, but that is expected of an older hotel IMO. Hallway literally lets out into shops and opens directly to a bar and grill - could not be more walkable or convenient. The fancier rooms have a fireplace. Very quaint and the staff was very nice."
