To be fair, the property is old and rather tired, but is in the process of renovating and moving under the Accor umbrella. Things are a bit of a mess, but that should be sorted out by April 2020. The price per sq meter is the big attraction, as older properties like this have much bigger rooms (bigger than many new condos). One item, Bei Otto, the German place next door, is abusively loud, making it hard to sleep. You want to stay on the Soi 18 side to avoid this. On the good side, you can enter from either Soi 20 (main entrance) or Soi 18, which puts you much closer to the BTS and MRT for transit.

The property reflects fading glory. Many of the fixtures and fittings are much in need of renovation and/or replacement.

Need to be serviced!!
The property needs to really take care of the aroma or change the carpet... specially in the corridors. The smell is horrible and I would recommend everyone to check your floor before you are allocated a room at Check-in. Floor 27 is a definite NO for me. The smell is really bad and can make a person sick. Even the room needs to be serviced well. Over all I would give a 6 out of 10 for this property.

I liked this place. The location was great, the room was huge. We had an executive room which came with free happy hour drinks in the evening. Breakfast was also good. I would stay here again.

It may sound petty, but the hotel has a super fast elevator. As it has 33 floors and many guests, this actually made a difference. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The pool is very, very nice. Staff are helpful and quick to respond to requests. The location is great, with many shops and restaurants around.

Good location but not very friendly hotel
The room was comfortable but generally a little run down. The breakfast was awful. Congealed eggs, watery tea and coffee. The staff were polite but not very engaged. Some were more friendly and helpful than others. We wanted to get some advice on tours around the city but the man sitting at the desk seemed a bit of a charlatan. Less advice , more trying to make us go in his (expensive) company tours! The hotel feels like it needs a bit of staff training.

I have stayed at Windsor suites before, it is place between 2 Bts stations so has fairly easy access. It is an older hotel and has character and nice design aspects. The city views are fantastic and it has a hidden gem rooftop pool and spa. Downside old rooms that need a bit of TLC, and unless you are chinese food wise you are not catered for....but just around the cirner on Sukhumvit is bad boy burgers which are absolutly epic
