Dhevi Hotel was great value. It's a lovely place. It's an art hotel, where pretty much every surface is decorated in some way. Lots of Thai-style design. My room wasn't large, but it was comfortable. Beautifully painted (and carved) wall behind the bed. Welcome fruit was a nice touch. Great AC. I was comfortable. The area around the hotel is ok. The street isn't that beautiful or interesting, but it's only a 13 minute or so walk to the nearest metro station, and as you get closer to that, there are more dining options that directly around the hotel. I had room service one night -- which was crazy spicy, but also super delicious. Recommended.

Nice room with a comfy bed which was spacious compared to the overall size of the room, no complaints. Staff were polite, friendly and very helpful when we needed anything. Restaurant and bar were pricy compared to local restaurants so did not try, but the hotel was very well kept and really nicely designed. Quiet location considering the hotel’s centrality. Would recommend for a simple but comfortable break in the city.

The rooms were dirty! The pillows dirty! The duvet dirty, toilet dirty, the door to the room wouldn’t close, the lift sometimes wouldn’t work, the air conditioning wouldn’t work sometimes, we would leave for hrs and come back to find that no one done the rooms! The water bottles in the room looks dodgy like someone filled it from tap water! Our rooms weren’t ready when we come to check in! No hot water! And the receptionist has a habit of reminding you about your check out day! This hotel looks fantastic from outside but rotten from inside.. I’d avoid it!

I picked this place because I really liked the vibe, it didn’t feel like a chain hotel & that’s great. I thought it was pretty centrally located but with Bangkok traffic it’s actually quite far. The beds are amazing & very comfortable. However, it can get loud around the hotel late & early so earplugs are necessary. Food is decent & reasonably priced for a hotel but breakfast really should be included & it’s not. The rooms & bathroom are really very small, smaller than I realized so I’m glad I was traveling alone because it would have been impossible with 2 people. There are no desks which was. Problem for me working remotely as I had to use a nightstand. When I first arrived however I got stuck in the bathroom, my doors jammed together and wouldn’t reopen, there aren’t proper handles on the back just pieces of wood you can’t get a grip on. I struggled for 20 minutes trying to free myself and ultimately sliced my hand open on the hook the have for a lock because it was the only thing I could get leverage on. The safe also didn’t work and I had to lock my luggage everyday with my valuables before leaving for the day. I raised these issues to the front desk & they just said okay, no one ever came to check the door or safe. I had also rebooked my return airport transfer online before arriving, confirmed the details 3 times but the day before when I checked they said they didn’t have it noted anywhere. I got by for the 3 nights I stayed with them but wouldn’t stay again.

Very nice boutique hotel with a unique decor reminiscent of a British Gentleman's club in colonial Hong Kong or Singapore. Small, but very clean and comfortable rooms. We stayed only one night and had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was an excellent meal.

This is a lovely hotel but the location lets it down. We used taxis to get around mostly and unfortunately most of the time the local drivers were not aware of it. This led to us getting lost quite a lot. The staff were helpful and the hotel is a bit “quirky” which was also nice though the rooms were a little on the small side. A gym would have been nice. Despite this, I would recommend and stay there again.
